Cute, easy to assemble, sturdy, fits larger cats and VERY nice scratch pad inside!This little house has it all. Early was 16lbs in this pic and he’s also quite long/large framed. He fits easily and is comfortable sitting inside. He’s a stereotypical “fraidy cat” and is suspicious of everything new in his life, but he immediately went inside his new house the minute I finished assembling it (which only took about 5mins from opening box to finish).It also has 3 cutout windows aside from the front opening, which is great for cats to see around them. Especially fraidy cats. I think he feels much safer in this house with windows vs a solid box.Ppl review that “it’s just an overpriced box”. NO! It’s quite well thought out and I get the feeling the designers are cat owners.The scratch pad can be used or removed for extra height, but I left it in even tho Early I’d tall, because he loves scratch pads and will use the front to scratch on. It also keeps the box cleaner by trapping kitty litter, fur etc inside the pad until you shake it out.10/10 and I’d definitely repurchase if it gets droopy but I don’t think that’ll happen for several years, if ever. I’ve accidentally bumped it really hard and it didn’t even dent!If I had a larger house (my main floor is only 800sqft with almost no storage space) I’d buy him one of these little houses for every season!!

Very generously sized, very cute to look at, and the cats predictably enjoyed this. I almost gave this 4 stars instead of 5, despite not having any regrets about purchasing this. It's hard to complain about longevity and quality when we are talking about a cardboard toy for cats, but I do wish the roof had been designed differently. It was easy to assemble, but it will be the first part of this item that your cat destroys. The tabs will be torn off or the roof will collapse (and cardboard will bend) under their weight, eventually. It would be nice if the roof could be attached differently. However, at the tradeoff between quality and price, I would rather pay less for something that's going to be destroyed anyway than pay more for something that's more sturdily designed but which will still ultimately still get destroyed (as is the goal when you provide scratch toys for cats). So buy it and enjoy-- just don't think the exterior is designed to withstand much rough use from your cats.

Kitty loves his donut house! So cute!

It’s a very cute cat playhouse and my cat seems to love being in it. Assembly is easy but the house isn’t structurally sound so you may need to reinforce the connecting points with some tape. The catnip that was included doesn’t seem to be very potent. Overall though I’m satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this to other cat parents out there!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:In an attempt expand the territory of my rescue cats I got climbers to a book in the ceiling that I have begun decorating like a little city. This doughnut shop was my first shop and it was cat approved within 5 minutes of putting it together. **What I like**- Easy to assemble - Comes with a small bag of catnip- floor of building is a scratcher

My cats love these scratchy-houses! They’re super easy to set up and last for a long time, so great quality for the price.

These things are great. Easy to put together. Cats love them. I added a blanket inside because that's just how my cats roll. But they love taking their naps in these.
