CURT 56370 Vehicle-Side Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness, Fits Select Honda CR-V , Black

I bought a 2023 CR-V EXL w/BSI, and needed a hitch and wiring. I used the Amazon "fits this" for both items. The wiring came faster than the the hitch, so I did some research on the wiring and discovered that the model I had was for the AWD CR-V. I looked up the factory harness for my car and it said it was for ALL models. I found an installation video on YouTube, that showed how to install the harness. Very easy and was just like in the video, including the brown tape on the connector. Less than ten minutes. Thank goodness for the video because their install didn't work until they discovered a fuse that needed to be installed in the fuse box. I used my trailer today and it worked flawlessly. The label confusion over AWD vs. FWD was the only issue foe me.

2020 CR V simple install! plugs directly into factory connector located rear, drivers side, behind upper panel. Everything stays inside the vehicle so it doesn't corrode. All the trailer lights work fine.

The instructions were very simple to understand and follow, and the harness was a perfect match for our 2019 Honda CRV.

Was real easy to install. Had to remove panels but the instructions were clear and plg and play

I bought this light adapter to install into my 2017 Honda CR-V EX so i can tow small trailers with it. Works really good and does exactly as advertised and very straight forward. the only thing that could of been better on this in terms of design is lengthening the 10 amp fuse so you don't have to take off all of the side paneling again inorder to access and replace it. which also might make it very confusing to a 2nd owner of a vehicle say if i sold it down the line scratching their heads in why the trailer lights wont work due to a blown fuse hidden behind the side paneling.My fix to that though was to lengthen and resolder/heat shrink the wiers for the 10A fuse extending it down to where you can easily acess and replace it in the trunk without taking everything apart again.So to end this my advice to curt is to at least ad a foot or two in length to the fuse wire to fix that.

Works great! It has plenty of length and tucks neatly out of sight in the spare tire well when not in use.(I can't speak to the ease of installation because a body shop technician did the install.)

Was a little concerned about the lack of videos showing this being installed in the 2023 CRV Sport Hybrid model, but it plugged right into the module just behind the side panel on the driver's side. Didn't even need to remove the panel completely to gain access, but the plug was taped to the wiring harness and the support frame--made it a little tricky to plug in, but once I figured out the orientation of the plugs, it was easy. Great value especially compared to the "H" oem harness at almost 2x the price!

We started to panic when we clicked on the install video and it says for an Outback. Um....I have the CRV?? Quick Google search and it was click and go. Literally....all the components on the left side of the rear of the CRV just clicked in and out. Spent more time spinning our wheels researching than we did installing it. Please put a CRV install video on here because they are WAY different.

Harness is relatively easy to install. It’s a nice touch that it included installation instructions. Everything works as it should. Save a lot of money not having to get a shop to do it. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish.

I installed this product in a 2021 Honda CRV.Pros:- Worked perfectly, operating trailer brake lights and turn signals correctly.- The essential hardware components (connectors, wiring, circuit enclosure) looked to be of good quality; robust, well-assembled, etc.Cons:- Two-sided sticky pad used to secure the small box containing the circuitry to the car wall was useless; glue was all dried up and it wouldn't stick to anything.- Instruction manual could be better, especially the photos, which were so dark that any details were hard to see.
