I bought this for my six, eight, and 10 year-old grandsons and everyone loved them. Really fun activity that keeps them occupied.

I watch the sale prices on these eggs and get them 30-50% occasionally. If you can catch the sale they are very much worth the money. I love all the different sensory activities plus you get a pretty cool dino to keep. The sand tends to be dry, but the slime and foam are great. We have no trouble getting our dino parts clean before snapping the pieces together.

Item arrived just in time for Christmas. These things aren’t exactly cheap for what you get. But it was exactly what my little 4 year old boy wanted. Seeing his eyes light up and shouting in excitement on Christmas morning was worth every penny. It’s kept him busy for a while. :)

My 4 y/o enjoyed smashing everything. I wasn't very impressed. You have little bags of sand or slime or foam beads that you 'dig' thru to find dino parts, which kind of falls flat because there's only a small amount of each item in the bag it doesn't fully cover the parts so when you dump them out the pieces just layed on the top. My son actually loves playing with it tho once we got everything opened and the dino built and he can choose the sensory material to play with it (the slime is his fav). The sand will be going directly into the garbage since it is just a mess that doesn't hold its form or anything. I do like that the little eggs can be built again and again, they are very difficult to build so parents will have to help reassemble, and even the large egg can be rebuilt and store everything else inside, which is a win. I think for the sale price I found it for was worth it but I wouldn't pay full price for this toy.
