Just unpacked this rug today, 12x18. It was so heavy, but packaged well. The exterior was malodorous so we were worried, but to our delight there was no odor once taken out. It unrolled and laid completely flat immediately. That's a first for us. It's soft and looks high quality. We're thrilled. Will update later about it's durability. Fingers crossed it stays this lux.

Yeah it sheds and it might not be for everyone but this rug is a statement. It’s soft & thick and at such a great price. I already vacuum twice a day so the shedding doesn’t bother me. However, I’ve only had it for a week so I’m sure the shedding will go down in time.

This is an excellent choice for our nursery. It has such a nice cushion under foot and really warms the space. The only issue is that it sheds even after having it for months. I vacuum it almost every day to combat this issue.

I love this texture of rug, pottery barn had the same with bigger knots and supper expensive, like 600 for 5*8. This rug was 250ish and I waited until it reduced to 160ish and I bought it. I don’t regret. I know if I sit on it, the wool sticks on me but I don’t care. I checked the rug many times for bedbugs and I didn’t see anything. Come on, this rug is 70% wool and made in India. I guess pottery barn is 30% or 40% wool! I guess 160 worth the price. Havent yet vacuumed it and I will keep you updated. ( two of pictures are from my IKEA assembly but I wanted to show you the texture)Haven’t yet see any sheddings bc 1- i didn’t vaccum 2- i have a carpet! ( ugly one)

This rug does start looking a little ratty every once in a while. BUT wool rugs are known to SHED for up to 6 MONTHS, I’m sure MORE OR LESS depending on specific designs. Having said that, I vacuum it a couple times a week and the vacuum acts almost like a lint shaver. It looks better afterwards. We’re on month 5 & I have noticed it doesn’t shed as much! Still sheds tho…I love how it looks overall, it’s got a casual modern feel and fits our Scandinavian style perfectly. We have hardwood floors and this rug is a nice and soft relief on your feet. I plan to wash it once every summer, it’s huge so it’s going to be interesting, not easy I suspect.

Love this rug! It genuinely makes me happy to look at and walk on. Good quality and pretty neutral colors with just a little blue. It’s just as pictured/described

Bought it for our nursery and it’s perfect. Very squishy and comfortable. Hoping it holds up well.
