Beautiful book. I am buying additional to give as gifts.

Ok read. Too bad it wasn’t more carefully proofed. There is also something a bit immature about the author’s writing style that keeps me from enjoying it as much as I would like to.

Somewhat disappointing considering the many talented and noteworthy artisans who call Maine home and we're not considered for this book. Although the few selected artisans featured in the book were a delight to see and read about, there was far too much focus on carefully choreographed studio shots and life style images, at times spilling over six to eight spreads, while there was little to no photographs of the artistic work. I love Maine and the artisans who reside and work there but this book falls short of a true tribute to handcrafted Maine

This was a gift to our granddaughter and her finance. They will be married in September and just love the Portland area. They loved the book and undoubtedly will visit many of the artisans and crafters that has illustrations in this book.

Beautiful book about creative artists and craftsmen and others from Maine. There are visual fine artists, a wonderful ceramicist, a basket maker, and so on. Highly recommended if you like to support art and craft or you simply love the great state of Maine.

This book was wonderful. I especially loved Greta Rybus photographs as they were beautiful and captured the spirit of the people and the landscape of Maine. I would recommend this book to everyone.Enjoy the Moments

Beautiful book!! Great stories of a wide variety of Mainers accompanied by beautiful photos. Makes me want to move to Maine! Bought a couple of extra copies to give as gifts to my friends who love visiting Maine.

If you love all things Maine you'll enjoy this book. Interviews with all different types of creatives and makers. Gorgeous photos. Now I want to move to Maine!
