You have to start taking about 2 months before going to higher altitudes. Or, that long, or longer when you’re there before they may help. I had bouts of altitude issues when I moved from So. Calif. to Albuquerque, NM. I was taking this supplement as well as the lung tonic. After a year, I had no problem hiking mountain trails at 7-10 thousand ft.
