Q: What’s the difference between with overflow or not with overflow? Is the overflow on the drain? I don’t want a pop up.

If your lavatory sink or Pedistal has an Overflow opening on it then you definitely want a grid strainer with overflow which will help it drain better too as it allows air to vent. Sometimes though the grid strainer holes make it difficult to drain properly so the water in the basin will build up although eventually it’ll drain out!
