This is the best brand of weighted blanket to buy. I really read alot of reviews of Rocabi as well as the many other brands out there. I think Rocabi has mastered the weighted blanket. I have purchased 4 blankets. The first blanket was a 60x80 (15 pounds) which says it fits up to a queen. It didnt seem quite big enough for our queen (didnt go over the edges of bed) so, I purchased the 80x86 (15 pounds) and am very happy with it for our queen size bed. We use the smaller one on a full size guest bed. I purchased 2 more 80x60 (15 pounds), one to use when my other top cover is in the wash and another to gift. The softness of this blanket is awesome. I did not originally realize the snaps on the inside to keep the weighted part and the cover uniform. There are 8 snaps, one on each corner and one in each middle section between the corners. Even the design of the snaps is the best quality. They did not cut cost on this blanket. I would have expected only 4 snaps to keep the cover in place and was happy to see 8! Most importantly, my sleep quality is much better. I actually find myself looking forward to going to bed and actually sleeping! If I did purchase another blanket for myself it would be the 60x80 and I would go up to the 20 pounds. Now that I discovered the snaps on the inside it doesnt seem as heavy because the weight is distributed more evenly. I think the glass beads make all the difference. A few of my friends have blankets that seem so heavy they are hard to move and seem to be filled with sand. I think the glass beads in Rocabi distribute the weight better. I would choose this blanket. They have a 60 day trial period and with prime returns are easy, but I dont think you will return it. You wont be sorry. Well worth the money. Quality makes all the difference!

Update: I wanted to do an updated review. It's definitely a five star. I sleep under it exclusively. It's warm enough & heavy enough that keeps me plenty warm. Only used a comforter over it when the temps were well below freezing. Strangely I don't sweat under it in summers but I keep a/c on. The blanket is so good that I have a hard time falling asleep when not at home using it. If I get restless legs, I just double the bottom over lower legs & that helps. Don't have an issue with leaks of beads. Only problem? I need one with less weight/size for travel. Love ❤️This is the 3rd weighted blanket I’ve bought in the last few months. I kept the other 2 for the 30 days return expired so I could compare before writing this review. After 2 returns I wasn’t expecting excellent but this blanket surprised me. It was here on time and packaged nice.It come with soft plush cover already on it with a cotton cover as extra. If plush isn’t touching body, I’ve not found it hot. The plush cover is really so soft. It hasn’t leaked nor has the glass beads bunched up. It seems well made, time will tell. It stays in the cover well and I don’t find it slips off bed. It is very heavy but I ordered 20# so it weighs 20#. It also doesn’t fit like a comforter just as it says in description. It’s not made to be a comforter but to cover one person well. I notice it helps keep my legs still. Sometimes I’ll double blanket on my feet. It’s very soothing. I would order again.

I love this blanket. It is difficult to assemble at first. But once it's assembled, it's helped me sleep like a dream. Although beware that when assembling you must be careful because the outer shell of the blanket can be ripped easily.

Initially I was very impressed with this blanket. The first few nights were wonderful. I LOVE the Minky it is very soft and very warm. When you receive the blanket it is not tied inside to the Minky so that is something that you need to do right off. We heat with a pellet stove so have no heat in our bedroom; and living Upstate New York it gets cold. There are nights when our bedroom has been a bit below 60 degrees. The problem I have with this blanket is that the glass beads do not stay in their perspective pockets. They have fallen to the edges of the blanket leaving very few in the pockets of the blanket ON the bed itself. We do have a Queen sized bed and are using a King blanket so it does drape a few inches on both sides.; but this is the only way that both of us can have cover with the blanket at night. Two people trying to share a queen we find leaves one without blanket unless you are practically sleeping on top of one another. To conclude I do love the softness of the Minky but to me it's not worth the $159.00 as I would have to get another blanket to put in it to be satisfied. I wouldn't give this to someone because of the fact that the beads don't remain in their pockets so I don't get that hugging feeling that I love from a weighted blanket which is why I gave sleep quality only a three star. If you have a King bed this would be the perfect blanket to use as it wouldn't hang and you may not have the issue with the beads. I hope this helps those looking at this blanket.

Edit after 7 months of having this blanket:The inside pockets have given way and the weighted beads are bunched on the outer sides of this blanket, rendering it quite honestly useless. Really really disappointing for the amount of money I paid for this. If you're willing to spend $300 bi annually then I guess the rest of my review is relevant.ETA: I contacted the company for a replacement under their one year warranty and they did send a replacement when they had one available. I am still very much skeptical of the quality of this product and can't help but feel like the blanket is going to do the same thing. The first one also came with a lovely linen drawstring bag to put the blanket it, my replacement came in a plastic zip up bag, why the change to more plastic in a world with enough plastic? The change makes me believe the blankets are being manufactured faster now to keep up with demand. I guess only time will tell if the blanket holds up.Only reason I am tacking on 2 more stars to my 1 star is because this company actually has exceptional customer service, it's just a shame the product doesn't seem to hold up.------------------------------------------------------------Original Review:I did not choose this blanket on a whim, I shopped around for a weighted blanket for a good two months and finally decided to go with this blanket for a few reasons:1) This is one of, if not the largest, weighted blankets on the market2) They were literally the ONLY company that responded to inquiries (extremely fast, almost instant responses)3) Can never go wrong ordering from Amazon.This blanket is extremely well made, the pockets filled with individual beads are quite small which makes for very even weight distribution while sleeping and moving at night. The soft minky cover is to die for, it's SO cozy and sewn amazingly well, has a very large zipper so it's not a struggle to get the inner blanket to fit inside. I have issues waking up frequently at night and restless leg syndrome and the first night I used it, I did not wake up a single time until morning.If you are shopping around, like I was, stop here and order this blanket because there's probably nothing better and you will not beat their customer service.

When I first got this blanket I loved it. Weighted blanket is great to sleep with, and this model has a very comfortable cover.The problem is after about 6 months, (I am guessing) the stitching inside the blanket gave out. right now my blanket's weighted beans has all been leaked to the edge of the blanket. The center of the blanket currently have no weight, and the sides are very heavy. It no longer gives any benefit of a weighted blanket.

This is a lovely high quality item. The reason for my lower stars is because I suffer with chronic pain and this did not suit me.I did extensive research into the weighted blankets and the size required for my weight and the size required for 2 people sleeping under it. I chose this as it matched all the prerequisites.I read that the better sleep you get under these helps your chronic pain as the sleep in more restorative. Whilst I agree that the sleep was improved I was in more pain as my body didn’t seem to like the weight of the blanket.I’ve read a lot of reviews on my search for weighted blankets and improved sleep but no one warned of the possible effects for chronic pain.This item is lovely and had it not been for my pain issues I would have loved it. I just wish I had been able to read a review like this when I was researching literally to forewarn me this may not help then pain.

Love these blankets. They're a bit pricier than others on the market, but the stitching and texture of the covers feels quality and I've not experienced any rips or tears yet after using one for almost a year. Included is a queen/small double size pouched blanket containing small weighted beads, and two covers - one smooth and one fleeced.The smooth one is intended for use in warmer months, and does actually do a good job of remaining cool. When it touches your skin it doesn't retain heat as much as regular blankets do, so I'd recommend it for summer. It feels a bit like soft canvas and has a nice texture.The fleece one (as others have mentioned) is amazing, on one side it's an incredibly soft bobbled texture that clings when wrapped around you, and on the other side it's so smooth you can slide your fingers over it and not really feel anything. As the majority of the target market for these are people with ASD, I imagine that anyone on the spectrum who has a thing for textures will enjoy the way the fleece blanket feels. It's kept it's smoothness even after being through the wash, although I've been advised to wash it on a low heat and to not use any fabric conditioner as it can affect the texture negatively.When you use it for the first time you'll notice a tingly feeling in your muscles, although that did wear off for me after a while. I'm so used to these now I don't want to go back to normal blankets because they feel so light it's as if they're not actually there. They might even help you save on heating bills as it's impossible to be cold under one of them (speaking about the 25lb and above ones).The only negative (but it's more amusing than anything) is that if you move around sometimes the beads will shift and fall which creates an odd rustling/waterfall type sound. In a silent room, hearing that for the first time made me jump up and go 'what the heck was that' but when I realised I laughed at myself.I enjoyed these so much I got two for different rooms (partially because moving them from one place to another is a pain because of the weight). Rocabi are professional in their customer service too, every time I asked them a question about their stock they always replied and when an item was damaged in transit they went out of their way to get it replaced for me as quickly as they could. Really professional.

I never bother to write reviews but this is an exceptional purchase. I was nervous to spend so much money on something as simple as a blanket with weights but honestly it's the best purchase I have ever made. It's incredibly well made and comfortable. Doesn't move around or have any strange smells. The money not difficulty I have had is trying to sleep without it when I have to stay away from home. It is not advertised as such but I have found it really helpful for me regarding nightmares and thrashing around, it eases the anxiety as you sleep and keeps you in one place. At first I purchased the 25lb blanket but found it too heavy and returned it for 20lb one. The returns process was incredibly fast and easy and I really appreciated that, I would absolutely purchase this and other items from the brand. It comes in a lovely bag and then boxed and it feels as much like a luxury item as it is. If you are on the fence like I was, take the leap, I've had it a few months now and wouldn't be without it.
