The Zensah Ultra Compression Leg Sleeves feature the same advanced compression technology as the Original Zensah Compression Leg Sleeves, but provide athletes with a tighter, snugger fit. The compression leg sleeves are able to be used by everyone from basketball players to runners and more. The compression in each pair of Ultra Compression Leg Sleeves helps to stabilize the calf and shin area. This reduces the chance of injury and also provides relief from shin splint pain. The Ultra Leg Sleeves are able to be used not only during activity to prevent injuries and improve athletic performance, but also post-exercise to help decrease muscle recovery time. The compression in each pair of leg sleeves helps to improve blood flow, providing muscles with more of the oxygenated blood they need to recover from a hard workout. This allows athletes to train harder and push their sport to new levels. Made in Italy, the Ultra Compression Leg Sleeves are moisture wicking. They transport moisture away from the skin where it evaporates into the air. They are also anti-odor, preventing the buildup of bacteria and stink. These are the best compression leg sleeves and will last workout after workout. Why Zensah? Zensah has been the leader in athletic compression for the last 11 years and the has had the number one selling compression leg sleeves in the United States for the last 6+ years. No one knows compression like Zensah. Your legs will appreciate the difference with Zensah. When choosing a size, calf size should be used as the primary determinant. We list height for those who do not know their calf size. Small: Calf Size 9.5" - 12.5" or 5' 3" – below Medium: Calf Size 12.5" - 15" or 5' 4" - 5' 10" Large: Calf Size 15" - Up or 5' 11" – Up

I'm happy with my purchase
I almost passed these compression sleeves up based on the negative reviews. I am a plus-size woman, and the sleeves in a size L fit me as expected. I run, and I am prone to shin splints. The tightness of the compression is just what I need to prevent shin splints. My recovery after running is superb. I have zero pain thanks to the quality of Zensha Ultra Compression Leg Sleeves. The fit is comfortable and gives the right amount of compression. Those that complained about this particular leg-sleeve must be new to wearing leg sleeves. Anything less than the tightness that this sleeve offers would defeat the purpose. The leg sleeve gives me the appropriate amount of stretch, comfort, and thickness.

Just received these sleeves today and will be promptly returning.
I just received these sleeves today and I must say I am truly disappointed in them. I already own a pair of standard sleeves by Zensah which I bought years ago to help get me through the 2012 or 2013 LA marathon. They served me well and I still have them after all this time. Lately my lower legs have been hurting a lot from all the standing I do all day, so I started wearing these sleeves daily to work. I only have this one pair so I wanted to buy some more sleeves so I am not wearing the same pair every day. After a lot of perusing I decided to try these because 1.) I loved the color. 2.) The price was right and 3.) I already had experience with Zensah products so I felt confident I would be getting quality sleeves. Unfortunately I was wrong. These Ultra sleeves are an utter disappointment. They are supposed to be thicker and have more compression than the standard sleeve, but through my own comparison I found this to not be true. My standard sleeves seemed to be made of thicker material than these Ultras and they fit better. Moreover, these Ultra sleeves run extremely small. I have 15" calves and I wear a size sm/med in the standard sleeve. I ordered these Ultra sleeves in a size Large and could not get them up and over my calves at all. I found them to be extremely tight and impossible to get on. I rated these sleeves a 2 because I did like the color and the sleeves were in good condition, but I couldn't get them on. So I promptly submitted a request to return these sleeves and will go and buy some more of the standard sleeves from somewhere else. I DO NOT recommend these sleeves.

i require good compressions to avoid leg pains and shin splints
I use the regular (non-ultra) Zensah compression sleeves and i decided i would buy these. I bought a medium for my mother since she has been wanting compression sleeves with all the speed walking she does. Unfortunately, it did not fit her. It was very very small. So i ended up keeping them and i'm tiny.... even then, the medium was very very hard to put it on. Literally break a sweat just putting them on (and taking them off)On the brighter note, the sleeves are very high quality! I do a lot of walking in the hospital since i'm an IV nurse and walk the entire hospital all night long (i average 4.5 miles in a shift). Because of this, i require good compressions to avoid leg pains and shin splints. These sleeves definitely do the trick! My legs don't ache at all when i use these. So I would definitely recommend them, but would try a size or two up... point is to have compression, not cut off circulation.

Pain Free - It Really Works!
I ordered the Ultra Compression Leg Sleeves for my 10-year old daughter who is running cross country for the first time. She was just starting to have some shin pain, so I wanted to intervene early before she started having real problems with shin splints. She was dubious at first and did not want to wear them. As is typical with shin splints she is only having problems with one leg. I convinced her to try wearing the sleeve for a training run. She experienced no pain while running and no pain afterwards. She is tiny - 55 inches tall/60 pounds. I measured her calves and she is right at 9.5 inches which is Zensah's smallest measurement for the size small. The size small fits her perfectly. It is a pain to get on because it is quite snug. She can do it herself, but I can hear her muttering and grunting the entire time she is trying to get it on. However, she continues to want to wear the sleeve because it really works. Since she started wearing the sleeve she has won several of her meets and come in second in several others and had numerous personal bests. You can't argue with success. She will continue to wear the sleeve. As a side note, I also ordered the Zensah Calf/Shin Compression Sleeve in a size xs/s. The compression is not nearly as tight as the ultra compression version and she does not wear them because she said they don't help nearly as much.

Long-distance Runners - Worth the price!
I am a still-novice runner in training for my first half-marathon. I'd been in training for about 4 months, with my long runs at 7 to 8.5 miles each, prior to purchasing this product. Then I read about calf compression sleeves in a book written by Jeff Galloway (Olympian runner and trainer). I was skeptical, wondering if the product would be worth the price. The answer is YES! I am amazed by the difference, both during and after my long runs. No more calf pains, much less foot swelling, and calves are not sore the day after a run! The neon colors are fun and match my (Under Armour) compression capris. And I know I'm putting them on the right way by the labeling. Highly recommended.

Loved them so much I bought 3 pairs for my son!
My son wears these every time he runs. The are much better than some other compression sleeves we have tried in the past for him. Now these are the only ones he will wear. He says they compress more than other brands and more the the non-ultra Zensah sleeves. Make sure to wash them in cold water and hang them to dry as they will shrink if you wash them in warm water or put them in the dryer. There is a slight degree of shrinkage after the first washing, whether by hand or machine, even in cold water - mostly seems to affect the length of the sleeve. My son does say they have helped his shin splints. He no longer has to use kineseology tape for shin splints. He likes them so much I have bought him a total of 3 pairs so I don't have to wash them as often. He is a high school XC and track runner. I wouldn't say these have cured the shin splints but markedly reduced the pain and allowed him to get through the season without any worsening of pain levels.

I ordered medium and they are more like a tight small
Suffered shin splints for donkey's years, and these sleeves have all but cut out the pain, fromsay 90% pain after a training session, to 10% now.As previous reviewer mentioned though, be extra vigilant when deciding on size; they are on the small size.I ordered medium and they are more like a tight small. All in all though, truly fantastic product that I couldn't praise highly enough.

Better discription on sizes would be an idea
These sleeves should have calf sizes in the discription and not on the packaging when it's too late and they've already arrived. I bought small based on the hight discription, they were too tight, my calves are 14" and I should have bought medium. I'm sure they would be fantastic if they for properly. They did arrive super fast though, I was well impressed with that.
