Amish Wrought Iron Towel Bar Scroll Ends Large Made

Served my purpose well. Pay attention to how you mount it. Some long black screws would have been nice, but you need to figure out some sturdy “mollies” to put through the sheetrock. Don’t just screw this to the wall by itself. Took a different color of spray paint very well, wanted a more “rusty/rustic” look. Watch your outside clearance measurements, it’s wider than the mounts by 2” each side, but hey, you can hang a towel off the ends!

UPDATE over 5 years later (12/1/2022):I love these towel bars even more. Now 1 bar is holding 6 heavy Griswold skillets, and the other bar is holding 7 heavy Stainless Steel pots & pans. Still no sagging or warping! Best purchase ever!Original Review: These towel bars are solid, great-looking items. I bought 2 to use as pot racks on my kitchen ceiling beams. Did I mention that they are SOLID? One bar is now holding 3 large stainless steel frying pans plus a large stock pot, and the other is holding 4 stainless steel pots plus a large le crueset cast iron square griddle (added after the photo was taken). After 2 years, there is NO sagging of the bar or the bracket, and they look great!

I have bought at least three other towel racks from Amish wrought iron and loved them, which is why I bought another one for the other bathroom. This one arrived without screws! They look so nice when screwed into the wall with matching screws. Not the end of the world, and I won’t return it, but now I have to drive 10 miles to the hardware store, (hopefully) buy the right screws PLUS some matte black paint and paint them before I can hang and use my towel rack. Not happy!

I bought this to hang outside. I purchased wrought iron S hooks to hang multiple towels. I looks wonderful. It is exposed to rain, sun, and heat with no issues. I plan to get another.

I like this towel rack because it screws directly into the wall and does not attach to the little metal thing that most towel racks attach to. This will stay put and not fall off!

I was pleasantly surprised how nice these were. Can't figure out how they can make a profit selling them so inexpensively. Very cool-looking, & unique--not your typical towel bar. Be aware that they are quite heavy and you need your own screws. I used 1.5 sheetrock screws and the color was perfect. I'm very happy with the way they compliment my antique-style bathroom. I guess time will tell if wrought iron will eventually rust from the wet towels and bathroom humidity.

I purchased the towel bar, towel ring, and toilet paper holder a couple of years ago. They are good for the price - the only complaint I would have is instead of being wrought iron - it is more like steel that is painted. The paint does come off via wear and tear and has to be touched up, but for the price that's ok.

This towel bar is a pretty, wrought-iron design that needed to fit in a unique space. It nicely goes with a wrought iron curtain rod mounted on the wall above it that displays a tapestry, so simple lines and high quality, sturdy design were important. This is a beautiful example of quality in form and function.
