Does the a/c adapter come with?

No - that is sold separately. Battery Operated, A/C Adaptable. Requires 3 (AA) batteries, not included.

What size adapter does this take? Where can i buy it from?

It's used with batteries or an adapter. It takes a 4.5v adaptor that can be bought on Amazon. I personally like to use batteries because I had it on my coffee table & didn't want a cord across my floor.

Does anything light up?

Hello, this items does not light up, it just has motion, thanks eHobbyTools

Is this supposed to be so loud when I turn it on or is something wrong?

I don’t believe there is supposed to be sound at all. Mine doesn’t play anything - the figures just move on the ice rinks.

Victorian style skating rink

The latest addition to our Lemax Christmas village, just what we were looking for, the only criticism is it does make a little noise when the room is quiet but not enough to lose a *.
