A Day in New York City: The fun way to discover New York City (City Explorer)

I bought this book for my niece… who already lives in New York City. But we both still loved it! It was fun to use to plan out a day trip and compare the photographs to the places we know and love. The style feels very modern (dialogue between researcher and tourist) and for teachers there’s more activities that you could use in the classroom. Would definitely recommend for both tourists and veteran New Yorkers!

What a great companion guide! This book is both informative and cute. Read this together for extra knowledge or to get a feel for this great city before visiting.

I like that this book shows photographs of New York City and describes the different buildings and landmarks you can find there. It’s nice to be able to explore new places through a book, but would also be great to read before traveling to NYC.

I love how this book combines illustrations of the characters and real photographs of New York City. It’s full of facts on the city’s history and culture that are told in an educational and fun to learn way. The activities section is just as fun!
