Gave this to my 7 yr old grandson for his birthday. He is crazy over LEGO kits but he really enjoy this building magnets.

These are for Christmas but my grandchildren have some and I know they would like to be able to expand their “buildings.”

Fun and easy way to help children learn about three dimensional shapes.

Our boys have loads of fun playing with these magnetic tiles and we have an absolute blast watching them build things with their imagination. We have a lot of toy cars, so our boys like to build structures (little parking garages) to house them in. They also like to build ramps to roll vehicles from. Hours on end can be spent with these and after about two weeks of having them, our kids have not gotten bored of them. Heck, I have fun building things with them! These tiles are a great substitution for Mega Blocks and are easier to clean up.Compatibility of this set is a definite plus. The dimensions of the squares are about 3" x 3", which is compatible with many tile sets from other makers. This set can entertain at most 2 kids playing with them at the same time. However, in our case with triplet 3-yr old boys, 104 pieces is not enough. We did get a 65-piece set (from another maker) to expand our tile set, but even with that it’s barely enough. As my attached image shows, the set comes with 4 hollow squares, 36 squares, 4 window skins, 4 long triangles, 6 windows, 12 right triangles, 20 equilateral triangles, 4 rectangles, 4 double doors, 4 doors, 4 fences, and 2 car bases. I’m a bit embarrassed to admit this, but it did take me a while to figure that the window skins go inside the hollow squares…As for the tiles themselves: The magnets hold very well and make for very sturdy structures. I like that the tiles are very clear as it is more visually pleasing (in my opinion). The mix of different types of pieces in this set seem to work for us so far. I like that there are 36 square (no holes) tiles in this set because our kids use them the most.In conclusion we are extremely pleased with this set and will likely buy more of them in the future!
