Push-Pin Globe - Mark Your Travels! - 9" Diameter Travel Globe

My husband did not realize that he had been to 96 countries until I bought him this globe. We used different colored pens to mark my travels and again I was surprise to find that I have been to 56 countries. Great little globe and entertaining.

Overall, I am very happy with this globe and have placed some finished pictures to give some examples how it looks. Here are the pros & cons of this item as I see it, I hope this helps you in making the right decision for you.Pros:1. Globe looks great when finished and makes a good reference and conversation piece.2. It brings back memories and inspires me to travel more.3. The pins stay in great once inserted through the thick globe.4. I personally had fun putting the pins in, but if you want this to be a super easy job it is not.Cons:1. Good luck trying to press the pins in, I used needle nose pliers to hold the pin and then tapped them in with a small hammer which worked great, but if you wanted it to be easier, this might not be the globe for you.2. My globe was missing the pins it was suppose to come with, I didn't care as I already had silver ones I was planning to use, but I can see how this might upset some people if the pins were omitted.

You will need to replace the base but other than that is fun to have on display and makes a greater talking piece in our house

When it said “push pin”, I expected a material that wouldn’t get damaged when I put the pin in... This is just a regular globe that comes with pins.

Great globe, but it's hard to push in the pins. Wish the material would be more forgiving or user-friendly.

Product was clearly used and repackaged. Had holes in major travel cities such as Miami, Long Beach, Columbia, Winnipeg, etc. noticed after we already punched a few in ourselves.

Pins are a little tough to push in but other than that its great! The stand is to be desired as well. Will have to find a new stand for it.
