These silicone ice trays are great. They are so flexible that I can just press the cubes out and rarely ruin that star-shaped Texas. Since I've moved from my home state to CT to be with family, people are always asking me if I miss Texas. Nope - I even have Texas ice in the summer. I do wish the cubes were a bit smaller so I could get more cubes in one freeze per tray, but having 2 trays is OK.

Giving this a 5 star because it does work well for ice, BUT I bought it to use as a chocolate mold. I don’t need thick chocolate so I only filled 1/4 to 1/3 full. The only problem, the smooth side is facing down… so the state is flipped the wrong way. I used a hot baking sheet to melt the chocolate on the “backside,” but it doesn’t come close to being smooth. It worked well enough for what I needed, but I will be purchasing a different mold so I don’t have the hassle.

Works awesome, just don't over fill the trey. Going to give as a Christmas gift.

These Ice cubes really add a pop to any cocktail party. If you have a Texas Theme party, they work doubly so! My only complaint is that it is somewhat difficult to get the cubes out of the molds. This is probably due to the shape of Texas, but I don't have anything to compare it to.

These Texas shaped ice cubes became the hit of the party. They kept their shape which was perfect! I loved them.

It’s difficult to place in the freezer because these trays are flimsy.
