Solid value at this price point
I have owned and used, nearly daily, this device's big brother (Jazz Band Vibe) for ¬¬nearly a year now, ever since breaking my right ankle in three places, with two of three breaks left in several pieces. Recovery has been slow and difficult, partially due to my age (early 70s). The Jazz Band Vibe operates with the same red and near infra-red light specifications as this device but additionally has vibration and magnetic modalities that you can turn off and on. It was a life-saver for pain relief in the first several months of healing. I am unable to take NSAIDs like Ibuprofen and with the opioid crisis, the doctors were very spare with the prescription pain drugs. I still use the Jazz Band Vibe several times a week when the ankle gets achy in the late afternoon. I also started using it occasionally for a chronically sore shoulder. Though, at this stage, I am having significantly less pain altogether, the ankle still gets very stiff/achy by end of day. Long story short, I bought the new, simpler Jazz Band Lite as a less expensive alternative that I could test out as a potential gift for a relative with a number of issues with joint and muscle pain. I've been using it for about a week now and it seems just about perfect for that use. The relief after a 30 minute session feels about the same as for the Vibe model. For actual bone healing, I would probably still go for the more expensive models with magnetic pulsing. There is some evidence that may be helpful in actual bone repair. I also love the way the vibration mode on it feels, though not everyone would. This is the model I would recommend to folks wanting to get started with light therapy, especially for pain relief. The maker’s videos are very helpful, too.

I believe it will work after continued use.
I have just received this and have only used it a couple of times. I will say that immediately, there isn’t much difference, but I do notice a difference after a little while. I feel that with further use, it will make a difference. I look forward to an updated review in a couple weeks. The only thing I do not like is the fact that the display stays lit even after use. You have to unplug it each time. That makes it a little inconvenient, but I will continue using it.

I dont know
A friend "couldnt live" without her vibe band so I took her advice and purchased it. I have to say I agree with "Mark's" review on the live model. Also I don't think Ive seen any real diff in my elbow condition and have been using off/on for 3 months plus. Maybe it works for some while not everyone. This is true for many medicines as well as devices/therapies

Speeds up recovery
I have been using the JazzBand Vibe for a couple of years now. As a runner it helped me with my knees and an old shoulder injury. I bought this JazzBand Light for a friend with a frozen shoulder. If you use it regularly it makes a huge difference over time. Highly recommended.

Never got it to work...
My sister bought this and loved it, so I gave it a try. Hers had a slightly different switch, but it was the same unit. I'm not sure why hers worked so well and my didn't. I wished they hadn't changed the switch. I never felt a vibration like hers and mine didn't really get warm. I sent the first one back and ordered a new one, but had the same problems. Customer service did call, but their suggestions made no difference. She did not have to connect this to an app on her phone either. I wish I had not spent the money on this. I went on vacation out of country shortly after purchasing it and it was too late to return it when I returned.I did contact the company and asked if I could possibly upgrade at a reduced price, but got no response.

It works!
Once you get it on the desired area, this theraphy pad works. One main complaint ;The attachment strap is difficult to work with.

My wife wouldn't be walking without this band...not kidding
My wife had a pinched sciatic nerve due to years of competitive running and after having our first child. The band was a lifesaver for her. No joke, she could barely walk before using the bands.Since then I’ve used it a ton on my foot after I overdid it running. The bands have been lifesavers for us!What I love are the microvibrations and the warming sensation you get from the bands. It makes any muscle group or area you're targeting feel looser and immediately reduces pain and stiffness.A must for any athlete, runner, and anybody that goes to the gym.
