I absolutely love this table runner! Perfect size for my dining room table, and adds to my rustic/farmhouse vibe!

My wife bought this for our table. I think it looks like a ripped up burlap sack. Oh, I just read the description, it is a large piece of burlap. Great! I don't understand why this is being sold, much less why people are buying it. Its a long piece of burlap that lies on your table. You could probably go to the nearest military surplus store, buy some material, make your own runner, and throw it up on Pinterest or the Gram if you fancy yourself an influencer. But whatever, It's your life; I don't care what you put on your table. If you want a long piece of burlap for your table, I guess this is what you're looking for. I don't understand the versatility rating though. This is a long piece of burlap for your table, It is not versatile. I mean, what are you going to do, fashion it into a ghillie suit? Sew it into a sack and have potato sack races in the backyard? In that case, yeah, this burlap table runner is incredibly "versatile".

I knew from reviews they were rustic and thin. That's what I wanted. But one of the placemats is very disfigured. I have attached a photo. Quality control seems to be lacking. I would have given 4 stars if this wasn't the case.

The photo of this item made it appears as though the ends were stitched similarly to the edges, unfortunately both ends of this table runny were completely raw edges which causes the burlap to unravel in an unappealing manner, not only that but the edges were cut uneven. It also sheds like you would t believe leaving a ton of fiber scraps and lint all over your table, not a good look on a dark table, makes it look like you don’t dust. Completely unlike the picture. It was cheap so you get what you pay for.

My house is farmhouse modern so I am always looking for accent pieces that fit with our style. This should have worked really well in my living room. Our Tv sits on an antique cabinet so I wanted something that went with our design tastes but that would also create a barrier between our cabinet and the tv to help prevent scratches.The edges are not finished and it unravels easily as a result. When you are working with jute or burlap type materials and want to leave a frayed edge like this has you need to run a stitch the length of the fray. This does not have it, and as a result it is just going to continue to unravel ~ I have cats. Love them to bits, but they see that frayed edge and it's like catnip to them. They gotta have it, they need it and they WILL DESTROY IT. If this runner had a solid stitch it would not be an issue but since there is nothing to stop the fraying edge from becoming unraveled they have already found a loose thread and unraveled more of it.So it is a cute addition to any rustic or farmhouse themed décor it just needs a bit of improvement to make it last. For me the value for the money is not here with this one. As it will not last, it will continue to unravel. I can't clean it like I normally would as any excessive movements will no doubt result in even more unraveling.

This is a fairly tight woven burlap. To my surprise the navy stripe is actually woven in rather than printed. The sides are nicely fringedThe ends are unfinished. This was fine for me as I just tucked the ends under. I intend to shorten the runner a bit and fringe out the ends laterThis runner is a good buy and we'll made. This might not be the best idea if you have small children. But my kids are older and appreciate decor. It was a quick inexpensive splash of decor and provided protection for my table. The ends are pressed with a crease to protect them in shipping. I found that a quick pressing with my steam iron smoothed this right out. I expect to spot clean this rather than put in the wash machine.

This is how it arrived! Seriously? Where is the quality control? Whatever is on this has a STRONG chemical smell, like a cheap clue. Annoyed because I got this to use this Thanksgiving (4 days away). How are you going to send this out like this?Update: I hand washed this table runner which unfortunately INTENSIFIED the smell. I then used Febreeze which did not help remove the smell. Washing it also caused the fabric to become stiff which makes me believe the entire table runner is covered with some sort of glue. This is getting returned.

Absolutely perfect with white table cloth, white dishes, white candles, and white pumpkins for a simple and elegant Thanksgiving table! Very pleased. They do arrive with a giant crease where they are folded in half. I sprayed them with water, especially on the crease area, and then ironed them on high / highest steam setting / extra steam shots with a pressing cloth to keep my iron plate clean. They turned out beautifully! It wasn't hard to get the gravy or mashed potato spots off of either - just used soap and water and laid them flat to dry. Very neutral, can use with white table cloths and china again, with different napkins for any occasion!

Have this down the middle of my huge oak kitchen table. There’s still enough length for a longer table still! It looks great in a farmhouse kitchen/ French sort of way. It wasn’t cheap for what it is and I don’t imagine it would wash well but it looks fab and I might buy another so I have one just in case this one gets a bit spill on it!

Not only was the table runner not even the correct size (a few inches too short) it was covered in some awful harsh smelling chemical that made me want to vomit. I hand washed it three times in the bath tub and hung it to dry.... the smell was so overwhelmingly terrible and spreading through our house that we needed to throw it out. DO NOT BUY THIS.I'm scared as to the chemicals that a child could touch and then put their hands in their mouth... or an adult for that matter. I would like my money back.

Yo entiendo que el Yute pueda liberar residuos del mismo material pero este tapete viene muy sucio.. Libera demasiado polvo y fibras de yute como si se estuviera rasgando... El producto es bonito pero la cantidad de polvo y fibras de yute que libera lo hacen practico solo para uso en exteriores donde no importe que ensucie como un jardín

Perfect for our island countertop! I wanted a long table runner to run the length of my island, using it as a separation of kitchen and seating. It’s hard to spot clean if something gets on it. Not woven tightly and has some loose threads. Overall happy, but it could be of better quality.

I was extremely disappointed when this arrived. It is no more that garden quality burlap you would use to wrap a bush. It was frayed on the sides, the colour that had been ‘stamped’ wasn’t even and missing in place. Total waste of money. The sad thing was, this is the first time I have ever returned anything to Amazon. I would not recommend at all....very poor...
