Easy to use, works as advertised
All in all, this is a decent bender. I've use it to make a number or nested bends with stepped diameters, for example, and I found it was fairly straight-forward to make repeatable bends with very little effort. All the components fit as they were intended to fit, and the moving parts move smoothly. The bending bar was a little loose on the pin, but not bad. I suspect some reviewers who complained about the fit may have missed the set screw that anchors the pivot pin. Also, some people complained that the tool came packaged with oil. To me this is a plus. Carb cleaner and a rag takes care of that. (At least it wasn't dry cosmoline). In my case, it would have been nice to have an assortment of additional (larger diameter) spacers, but I believe most people will do just fine with the 4 smaller diameters included.

Poorly Made
Since this is my first metal bender I wasn't sure what to expect.... After using it to bend some 3/8 rods for some hooks (25 of them) I could tell where the 'cheapness' bled through.TL:DR:This is cheaply made and will not make acurrate multiple bends because the handle pin is loosely fitted.First: The bending pin on the handle doesnt seat all the way, so ends up at a 30-ish degree angle, this makes making multiple bends on the same rod VERY difficult because the travel UP it and not against it, and I found myself using a vise and a hammer to straighten things out. To combat this I would have to constantly rotate the rod with one hand as I rotated the handle to bend it with the other... Though this was by eye, it at least got the parts closer so I could follow up with my vise and hammer.Second: The threads on the knob used to clamp the piece in place warped the very first time, and I can barely turn it without struggling to clamp further pieces... Considering I formed 25 rods, each one with 5 separate bends... I eventually had to use vice grips just to turn the handle to tighten and loosen it.I'm 250lbs, I am trying not to assume anything or take jabs at anyone... but if I struggled... Both with the bending and the weak pin, as well as the knob... I can't imagine someone smaller having an easier time.I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product... Yes I got the job done I was trying to do, but I know that it could have been a lot easier with a better made tool, and so was NOT worth the money.

Worth the money
This worked great for bending spoons and other small pieces of metal. Very well constructed.

Bends 1/8" thick x 3/8" wide 304 stainless steel easily.
Well worth the investment. I was paying someone to bend my parts on a Press Brake and this will pay for itself in less than a week. I am making 30 & 60 degree bends, so they are rounded instead of sharp angles, but for my application that's fine. The stop pin works well for the 60 degree bend, but I have to check my 30 degree bends with a protractor. If I go too far, they're easy to correct. All in all, I am very satisfied with the product.

Great Bender
I read a number of reviews here where people were complaining that it didn’t work very well and the pins were loose and all of that. I’ve never bend metal rods before and this is the first time. In the picture the smaller bent rods are from a manufacturer. The larger bent rods, which is a 3/8 inch steel, were bent by me using this bender. For me it worked great and I really liked it.

Misaligned - Unusable
This review is for the Kaka industrial MUB-1 Mini Universal Bender; as you can see in the images, the center part was attached at an angle by the manufacturer and it cannot be adjusted, so that prevents the center pin from being inserted all the way through which results in the bar wiggling in place; in addition, all these parts are so poorly made that one is better off bending the metal with a wrench or another home-made device.

That item fits perfectly in a vise and need not be bolted down.
Product was used for bending metal rod with a radius on both ends. Again liked the fact that product fits perfectly in a vise and don't have to bolt it down to your work bench for easy removal.

The quality is pretty sketchy but it's OK for some uses.
I decided to keep it. I have a lot of tools and I can fix this thing up. The handle was a very sloppy fit in the frame so it wobbled. I filed off some burrs and put in a 0.030" shim stock for that. Much better now. The pins fit the main frame pivot hole about OK but lean a slight amount not square. The holes for the pins in the handle are very sloppy and the pins wobble around. The pins are about 0.500" and the holes are about 0.515" and not consistent at that. I'll clean up the holes and make my own pins to fit. As it comes it's passable for round material I suppose. Flat material will have issues with the sloppiness and I'm sure the bends would wander around in direction instead of staying in one flat plane. The instruction sheet is actually decently done, but fairly limited. Overall this thing is disappointing. I was using it partly as a test before buying one of their larger benders, but now I think I'll look elsewhere.
