Love this latch! Excellent quality very heavy and was just what I needed..., however very very expensive

They are perfect foe my needs. Good quality, heavy and quality steel. Hand crafted, which gives it a unique and nice feel. Very nice.

This is a substantial cabinet latch. It has a lot of antique-looking details although they are not crisp which is ok with me as I don't like perfect or fussy. I have ordered these three times for various products because they lend an antique look to new cabinetry. the turn spring works great and the catch is a bit longer than others (but not long by any stretch) and I was able to use them on cabinets that are butted against each other. The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is that the screws are cheap and break under any stress. You must drill a hole a bit larger than you might think...but not so large that they don't catch. A simpler solution is to upgrade the screws!

These look exactly like the picture. I got the antique bronze but I really really wanted gold but I needed 2 and I never found more than 1. So I'm not thrilled with the color but I'm hoping some rub and buff will give me the color I want. The metal of this is very soft and easily damaged. The screws are flat head screws and the lines in the middle are all messed up on mine after installation because they are such soft metal and the pressure of screwing it in was clearly too much. I'm not thrilled with it at all but I shouldn't need to remove them so hopefully they'll be fine.

Solid piece & great color / functionality. I have a black vintage/ornate hall tree with a cabinet at the bottom that refused to stay closed. This latch is perfect to keep it closed. It matches great. It’s not a large latch, just enough for a simple cabinet but definitely stays latched tight.
