Awesome pair of Binoculars!!
These Binoculars are the first pair I've purchased personally. I liked them so much I bought the 10x50 also. They are built to take a beating and have crystal clear glass and a good ergonomics. I would buy them again if I lost the pairs I have..

Well worth the money if used during the hours of daylight.
I bought these to replace an older pair if cheaper binos. My experience with Steiner optics came from using them in the Army. They are well built and for the cost they work very well, however they are not MILSPEC. With that said, the image quality is very good, they gather light well in lowlight conditions, however when a another light source enters the field of view, such as an aircraft or a set of car headlights, the distortion created blurs the field of vision badly. My actual MILSPEC Steiner's don't have that happen. And my Kowa's, Vortex's and Swarovski's don't do that either, but in the light of day they are very, very good.

Great Binos
Well They're Steiner's & that says it All! You can't go wrong with these! I brought these for my Daughter, & can't wait to hear her Surprise! These are just Clear as can be, even at Dusk you'll get a Crisp View! Light to carry around. I'll be buying at least 2 more as Gifts. I also own a pair of 7x50 Steiner's. Remember You get what you pay for, and for me that means Steiner. Update 4-7-20: I just received a second pair of the 8x30's. These are Really Good Folks! Get a Pair you won't be Sorry! They make Great Gifts!

Good buy if we want something quality that is made outside of China
This review will mostly be for folks that wear glasses. These are marketed as having eye relief to allow use by folks who wear glasses, 20mm according to google. You have to fold the rubber cups around the eye pieces but if you do they can work for us. The experience could be better though as it often feels like you spend a lot of time "searching" for a good view through the binoculars, even after you get them adjusted. I am nearsighted with one eye a fair bit worse than the other, so it may be a me problem. They are usable though and even more so if you can sit with your elbows on your knees. The adjustments all have a nice friction to them that seems to hold everything in place and are marked so you can return them to your settings if you let someone else use them. I think the magnification / fov is perfect if you are looking for something to use in the woods for hunting, bird watching, or for general use. If you are getting them with the idea of looking at targets at 100 yards and farther, I would go with something with a higher magnification. The case and strap that come with them are very cheap but the binoculars themselves feel solid. I would recommend them without hesitation. If you are looking for alternatives, Meopta also made some that I considered but were a bit more costly.

Quality
I had these binoculars for work before retiring. Had to have a pair of my own. Crystal clear and infinite focus. Best you can buy!!

Very compact
Very compact, tough armoring. Optical quality is quite good at this price point. Not as great at night because of starlight effect from light sources. Strap is fine. Case is garbage. These are my car glove box binoculars and serve that purpose well.

High quality binoculars, made in Germany
I upgraded my gear from a Nikon 9X25CF and bought the Steiner 8X30 Military-Marine. I needed binoculars that could focus on fast moving objects without constantly having to adjust the center-focus-wheel. I am impressed with the auto-focus feature which works great from 20yard to infinity. If you're trying to observe objects that are closer than 20 yards, then these binoculars are not for you. The optics are bright and clear over the entire field of view. I take them out for hunting, camping, boating, hiking, target shooting, beach and travel. Built to military specs, they are tough and excellent in all environments and climates. There is plenty of eye-relief and the cups roll back to accommodate those who wear glasses. You get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

The real Deal. No China copy.
8x30Had one for about 40 years and loved it. Was good till it fell and broke the front ocular off on one side. No I replaced it with a new one here and can‘t hold back my joy. Had to write this review. As a surprise, it came with a little carrying bag in camouflage design. Since it is new it is much clearer than my old one. Brilliant. I‘m sure it will be with me for a nother 40🙄.Totally recommend these Steiner Glasses.
