You get what you pay for.
The company needs to list out what it’s selling to you. Especially if claiming it’s for a sportbike. There is a significant difference between OEM and this product. The cork substance seems extremely soft and the steel plates compensate by having roughed up cuts in them to compensate for bite grip. The combination will most likely make for short term longevity. When directly comparing it to the OEM plates I was taking out, I decided against installing this product on my motorcycle. It might be most fitting for the severely casual moto rider on a low powered bike who’s main priority is saving money.

Perfect fit and function.
Obviously it is too early to tell about longevity, but the clutch installed easily and works just fine. Very smooth. Please note that the Yamaha R6 is supposed to have one steel plate that is a different thickness and is to be installed first. This clutch kit does indeed include that plate, and it was on top in the bag in the box. I measured the plates with a micrometer to find it, and you might want to as well, as it is not marked.....but it is included. The springs supplied give a nice feel, and the clutch engages positively, but is not tiring to the hand. As advertised, the steels and friction plates are all pre-oiled.The clutch is marked as made by HF brand, which is part of the Huangshan Benma Group, and the friction substance appears to be their 103 material, which is a black rubber and cork compound. It is supposed to a very quiet material that provides a smooth operation, is environmentally friendly, and economical. They rate it for 10,000 km. I would think most people should exceed that unless racing. If you want to race, I would go with the OEM Yamaha parts; I think they are Kevlar infused. When you install your clutch, make sure you either remove the grooves from the aluminum basket and insert, or order new parts. No clutch will be smooth if it has grooves to contend with. So, there you have it......a cheap alternative to OEM that works fine. For my useage, it is perfect. (But......nothing beats Yamaha OEM for performance applications. )

Slipping
I’ve had this clutch installed on my 2004 Yamaha FZ6 for not even a month, and it’s already slipping while in third gear. I guess you get what you pay for! The springs are lighter than the old springs I pulled out, maybe that has something to do with it.
