Just what you'd expect.
I needed a cord for my turtle's UV light, this was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised to find it quite sturdy for an indoor cord, not at all flimsy. Perfect for the purpose.I don't think I'd call this "weatherproof" in terms of an outdoor use cord, but I'd certainly take it camping to use under shelter.
