Fitment could be a bit better, but easy to bend the filter housing sheet metal in to place. Gives a great tone to the intake and exhaust note so you can tell it's definitely breathing good. Little better mpg on the highway. Truck has a 6" lift with 35" tires so anything helps w mpg. Overall impressed with the value and performance.

Total garbage.First off: I am a car guy. I currently own and do nearly all of my own maintenance on 8 cars. I have a dedicated personal shop/garage. I know how to wrench on cars.I got this RC cold air intake in hopes of getting slightly better MPG, slightly better sound, and slightly better performance. I did some research and settled on the RC based on other reviews saying it was comparable to the K&N and other similar real cold air intakes. I figured there is really not very much technology in it; it is a few piece of metal that need to be built to the correct spec. The 5th Generation Ram 1500 is 4 years old. You would think that in 4 years someone over at RC would bother to get out a tape measure to make a cold air intake that would fit? You think wrong.This box didn’t come close to fitting in my 2019 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. Who ever designed this thing needs to be fired. The quality reeked of cheap PRC crap and the fit & finish was garbage. Save your money and buy a real one.

I have had plenty of S&B kits and K&N kits and this one is really on par. It has a pretty basic heat shield that does have some gaps that let in hot air. The silicone joiners are just fine for a naturally aspirated build. The heat shield however did not properly fit the factory mounting points. If you give it a little persuasion it does ok. You are getting what you pay for. I live in CO and I’m not too worried about intake air temps I just care about longevity, air flow, and filter quality. This kit has great sound too. It sounds like you put some high flow mufflers on it. Nothing obnoxious. It just sounds like a v8 should now. The parents did not complain once on a 6 hour road trip. And I did notice better throttle response and maybe better MPG but it sounds so good you put your foot in it more.

This cold air intake took less than 25 minutes to install from tear down to build up. Simple plug & play system utilizing your existing oxygen sensor and new vacuum fitting. Quality is great & noticeably changed the performance/sound of the truck. Best $150 ever spent!

Product came scratched up, and was obviously cheap Chinese quality. I went ahead and started the install which was simple and straightforward even though the instructions were not very clearly printed. The heat shield required some bending to fit decently, but was easy to do. When I attempted to install the intake tube on the engine intake manifold, I realized I had just wasted half an hour, because the electrical connector for the e-torque module was in the way. I wasn’t going to risk damaging the electrical connector to install this low quality intake. Thank goodness for Amazon return policy!

Air box has awful fitment, only 1 of the 4 bushing can be attached. Vacuum line is just barely usable. Fitting for sensor is set up all wrong. Get what you pay for
