191202 Dinosaur Building Block Set, 575PCS Jurassic World Toys for Boys and Girls Age 6+, STEM Education Gift

These are just as good as the big name that I shall not mention in building blocks. The price of the big brand has soared in the last few years, driving the hobby block builder to look for other avenues to squash their addiction lol. The theme is somewhere between jurassic park and ark survival evolved, of which I am a fan of both. This set was "Ark" enough that I built it and added it to the desk where my gaming pc lives. The pieces fit together very well and there are no rough edges. The mini figures are on par with the big name in blocks and head and shoulders above the competition. The instructions are good. My only complaint is that the pieces for each step are spread across all the bags and they are not numbered into stages to make it easier to organize the blocks while building. It's an all or nothing, you either pour them all out or you won't find what you need.

You get a lot of pieces for the money. And most are unique and specific to the set. But they are very tiny, easy to lose, difficult to identify, and the kit is far, far beyond the ability of most kids targeted by the marketing.Then there's the matter of packaging in single use un-numbered (!) cello bags, making identification of illustrated assemblies a chore. The instructions do not indicate which bag you are using. Is it a single figure? Is is a sub-assembly? Hey, just get your team of little kids together to figure it all out. And the instruction booklet was carelessly folded into the box so it can't lay flat and be studied easily.At this scale, the kit is not fun for all. But my middle school grandkids accepted the challenge of figuring out the puzzle on their last visit, so it does offer intensive problem solving and play.

This is a really fun building set for kids! It is well organized and the directions are great. This is a great activity for a parent or grandparent and child!

I wouldnt buy this twice.

The media could not be loaded.  WOW! That is a VERY nice block set! Honestly this is the best quality and craftsmanship that I have seen compared to the popular block set. For the pieces you get and for the price this definatly a great bargain. Instructions looks very promising. Wil recommend to anyone looking for a great deal for price and pieces for your little block builder. I know my son loves dinos and blocks. So I think this will be a bit of a challenge but nothing we cannot do together and sort of the reason why I pick this little gem. Again price is great and piece quality is awesome. Hope this was HELPFUL in your decision to dino your way to a great deal and a great project for your kids and family.

The media could not be loaded.  This product is bad. Pieces are not even. They do not stay together. Design is poor. The arms for the action figures are nearly impossible to press in. I am a 38 y/o 230lb man and my finger hurts from pushing it in. I can’t imagine a 8 y/o having to do it. Never buying Jumei product again. LEGO cost a lot for a reason

I was delighted at receiving this JUMEI Jurassic World Dinosaur Building Set. It is a strong alternative to Lego and has its own interesting take on typical plastic building sets. It comes with 575 pieces, including a cool dinosaur head, with its own design style that is distinctive from the Lego idiom. It also comes with the little men that look just like the Lego men in their sets. It also comes with a flying pterodactyl, a kind of Range Rover car combination vehicle, and some palm trees for a Jurassic-style flavor. It says for 6+ years but a 6 to 8-year old could do it with assistance. I highly recommend this set for its design appeal and hours of constructive play it will provide!!

This is a cool gift, but it comes with so many pieces. That would be ok, but the directions are so tiny and the colors all sort of blend together, which makes it difficult to put it together for my 8 year old (and me, his mom). Besides that, once it is together it is awesome!
