This system, like many in the price range and category, is built to handle a specific type of user, the average home user of office worker in this case. The model I got does not have a CD/DVD drive and there is no internal drive available to add in, meaning you use an external CD/DVD if you need one. It also has a built-in video that will not handle high-end graphics processing.Windows 11 Home is included, along with a large amount of useless bloatware programs and along with Windows 11's annoyances. Microsoft has decided that, with Windows 11, they will decide what the consumer should have, in an attempt to provide security. It's at the expense of usability though. You will need some work-arounds to get past the pre-configured lunacy.The mouse and keyboard are adequate but were uncomfortable and I replaced them with a better product. Beyond that, I use this almost as is, with a few external devices such as a DVD player and external storage. Otherwise, it is ab adequate, if not stellar, computer for the average user.

It boots fast and was easy to set up. It's minimal but adequate hardware. It will take 2 sata 3 drives in addition to the m.2 ssd. It is quiet and stays pretty cool. Fine for my uses and I'd rather have a Gen 12 i3 over a Gen 10 i5.

Works just like they said it would. Added a little bit over a month, and everything seems to be just fine. Given what computers cost today, it was a fair trade.

This came with Windows 11. As soon as the operating system was done with setup, I opened Microsoft Edge and went to youtube. After a few minutes, the video froze. So, I turned it off and back on. I went to Amazon Prime Video....after 20 minutes, the video froze. Same with Netflix. I tried opening other apps and went to other websites to see if anything happened outside of video and I didn't have any issues. So, I called HP support and after a few minutes, they sent me to software support. This person said that this was a premium support area and I would have to PAY to resolve the issue. I told them I wasn't paying for support on a brand new computer that has issues. They said the problem was with a browser and that is software, so the premium support was the only people that could help me. For a price. (I had to contact HP support 3 times during this entire experience. ) So, I contacted Amazon and their tech person asked a couple questions and then offered to refund and return. So, the computer is on it's way back and after HP support asked me to pay to fix a problem with a computer that just came out of the box, I will be getting a Dell. I will NEVER purchase another HP product. DO NOT BUY. If you have an issue, support will NOT help you without your credit card. So disappointed.
