I have a path down the side of the house, would have to fit the device to the side wall to look down the path. Can the camera be adjusted to do this ?

Yes you can tilt in all direction just found out there is a little screw which allows you to rotate as well

Is it possible for the light to be turned on and off via the app?

Yes and you can adjust the sensor in the app

Is it possible to adjust time that the lights stay on after movement is detected?

Yes you can set the light to last 1, 5, 10 and 20 mins. You can also manually turn on and off or even dusk till dawn. Light will only come on if the PIR detects something. You may get notifications of motion if the camera picks up something like trees blowing in heavy wind or raining but this doesn't turn on the light as the PIR didn't detect it.
