Artistic Wire Snub Nose Chain Maille Pliers by The ChainMaille Lady

Great quality and very comfortable in my hand. I'm a little over 5'3" with a petite frame and small hands. The other tools I have cut into my palm, but this one is long enough that it does not. The foam grip is perfect too. I ordered another so that I could have 2 for opening and closing my jump rings (which are 22ga 3mm) and it works great.

Fantastic leverage. Best advise for pliers; get a pair that fits your hand well. I have large hands; these have long handles with a gentle curve. Most jewelry pliers have fairly short handles, the end of which will poke you in the palm while you are working if you have large hands. For a small-handed person, I'm not sure these would work as well, but you can get very similar pliers from the same manufacturer (beadalon) with shorter handles with the same grippy foam handles.

It fits well in the hand. A higher priced chain-nose would be a whole lot more precise, but it does a good job anyway.

Love these pliers! Great for opening jumprings and I use them in wire wrapping also. You can get a good grip with these pliers and make the wire bend and go where you want it to go. GREAT tool!

These are great for making chain maille. The padded handles are comfortable, and are long enough to fit well in the palm. They work well in tight spaces, and grip well enough for larger (harder to open) rings. Like all pliers, they can scratch some metals, so I usually coat them in tool magic. I like them so much I have multiple pairs, so when the tool magic is being reapplied on one set I can keep going.

I am quite pleased with the quality of these pliers. They are sturdy and comfortable to work with. The snub nose is the perfect size for closing jump rings, and many other jewelry findings, easily, not just for making chain maille. I love the soft-covered handles. They make it nice and easy to smooth out a small kink in wire working or to help shape a piece of end-wire into the project. LOVE IT!

I haven't used them yet, but I'm eager for my titanium jump rings to get here so that I can! I can tell that the thicker (foam) padding on the one handle is going to be a blessing. I'll update if they don't work as anticipated...

Had already bought one pair of these pliers and so impressed that decided to make up the pair by buying another one. The Spring is really strong and helps you to grip the jump rings easily. Comfortable handles. Now a firm favourite in my tool kit. Beadalon products have been consistently good quality and I will continue to purchase.

These pliers are brilliant!!! My hand is arthritic, but they are so comfortable to use, makes my chaine mailer pieces so much easier on my hand. Thankspieces so much easier
