I started about a month ago, when I caught COVID and had to stay quarantined at home.I planted seeds and some stems from store basil and mint plants.The stems got roots very quickly and now are growing well. I failed to plant rosemary though.I used regular seeds from my local Home Depot (dill and cilantro/coriander). Coriander didn’t sprout in the hydroponics, so I planted sprouted seeds later.So far everything works great. It works for aprox 16 hours then turns off for 8 hours, and I keep other plants next to it for additional light. No noticeable noise, no hassle.I enjoy to watch how my plants growing every day and can’t wait to see my grown herb garden :)Update: 2 month of use, so far so good. Mint and basil grow like crazy. For dill and cilantro I feel that there’s not enough light, they’re elongating. Now with all these roots I need to refill the water tank more often, but it’s okay. I’m highly satisfied.

I hardly write reviews but wanted to write one for this. I bought 2 units during black friday and the shipping was very fast. I wanted to have salads and fresh herbs for the winter, the photos are the setups only 37 days in. The herbs smell amazing. I've already clipped the lettuce and have had 2 full salads (lollo rossa variety) I only used half the slots in the lettuce container to prevent over crowding and its filled in beautifully. It doesnt prompt you when to water or give nutrients but its pretty easy to tell by the water level and just seeing if the leaves are wilting. I think I've gave both the setups nutrients twice, and only gave them a tiny bit each time. Its not the most nutrient rich food, but if you want to see your plants grow fast, plant some lettuce and give it a ton of water. There is a little algae in the container I planted herbs in but I was expecting it with the clear lid and isnt a big issue. They were easy to setup and have been easy to maintain, AND they look super sleek.

Seems like a quality product. The lights turn off and on. And the pump works. Couple things. I didn’t get the food, or sponges or stickers. It’s been 3 days since i reached out to their customer service and it’s been entirely silent. Also the top of the basin is clear plastic. Which is confusing since that would like increase the algae production but I’m a newbie so maybe i don’t know what I’m talking about. All in all seems like it could be promising. It’s really annoying to pay for everything you need and then not get everything you need.Edit: two days later and there’s still no word from the support team. And on top of that i thought I’d use the light on some of my plants while waiting on replacement sponges i ordered but now the device is in operable. Tried plugging it in in different locations and nothing. I even tried a different cord. What a headache.

Everything you need is included down to the plant food, just add your own seeds and water! The compact design makes it perfect for any desk or tabletop and the water pump is super quiet. The delivery was fast and setup was a breeze. I have been growing basil and buttercrunch lettuce in it for a few weeks now. Pod covers are not provided so I used a square of aluminum foil with a golf ball on top to hold it down since I'm not planting in all the openings right now. I especially like the poles that come with it to prop up any leaves that get too overgrown. This system made me fall in love with hydroponics and it makes an AMAZING gift for anyone!

This unit has a telescoping light arm which is ideal for growing a year-round, sustainable garden. The capability to target lights for vegetable vs flowers and fruits is a great feature. The status lights for light and water work well, I wish there was a fertilizer prompt light like I have on my smaller unit. The clear growing platform is a great feature making it easy to ensure that the water pump is working properly. Would purchase again.

The package arrived quickly and was easy to assemble, with plant food and everything needed. It feels solid and like it will last for a good while. I planted some seeds and they were already sprouting within 2 days and are now growing really well. Thank you! I wanted to grow some herbs and veggies inside during winter, and it seems perfect. You can't hear the pump, it's super quiet and compact, so a nice addition to the living room.

Despite this being on sale on the UK Amazon site, and suggesting that it could be used in the UK, having bought it and paid significant delivery, it turns out that it is only compatible for US. I have tried contacting help but I’ve got nowhere, so unfortunately I am having to write this review with the hope of it being noticed.
