Canon Office Products PIXMA MG3020 Gray Wireless Color Photo Printer with Scanner/Copier

I'm very happy with this printer. Its my first Canon and I admit it was not as easy to figure out and use as my former HPs. But, once the wireless connection was set up (good luck with that) it was easy to use. Print quality is good. Color is good. Nice small footprint. Its not fast but for home use its fast enough.Downsides: it turns itself off so every time you go to print you have to turn it on. I'm not sure if the print cartridges ran out quickly because they were "starter" ones or if this will be the story of this printer. Hope not because they ran out REALLY FAST.I would have given it 5 stars if the initial printer cartridges had lasted longer. I'll edit if the replacement cartridges last a reasonable amount of time. Haven't found out what they cost yet.....

No problem with printing from my phone using the Cannon print app. But I can't get it to work from my laptop. Used the provided cd and then the driver from the website and still nothing. Not sure if that will turn out to be an issue. Getting a new computer soon so we'll see.UPDATE: never did get it to work for my Toshiba laptop. Recently bought an iMac and it can't find the driver. Pretty sure that it's a printer meant to use wireless via their app from your phone.

While I love the quality of the photos and documents that print from this machine, I really miss being able to print anything from my iPhone or iPad. I didn't realize that it only printed images from these devices. If you wish to print anything else, you need to download the Canon PRINT app and save the document to one of the following on your phone: Documents or the following Cloud services: Canon Image Gateway, Dropbox, Facebook, Google Drive, Instagram, or OneDrive. You cannot just click on Print on a website and have it print a page, document, recipe, etc.In the app, it has an option where you can take a photo of document and print it out in color or black and white if you adjust the settings. You can even crop out anything you desire. The feature is called Smartphone Copy.I haven't tried the last feature in the app, which is Create Photo Items. You have to download another app to use it. I just downloaded Canon Easy-PhotoPrint Editor so that I can use it. It is just like another app that I own that allows you to add borders and create collages of two to four photos without a border.

Arrived on time and met all expectations. Great printer for the price with lots of other features. Connects easily and set up is super fast!Would buy this one again in the future - although the cost for replacement ink is outrageous. That is ALL Ink cartridge replacement, not just for this printer.The ink did start to go low on the first print - so we are going to monitor it for how many pages and I can report out later.Ok, a couple years later...Printer is not working. Ink ran out (assume small supply sold with printer initially which is typical of all printers). However, the cost to replace the ink is greater than the printer itself. So we just purchased an HP inkjet for less than ink cartridges. The HP version has less expensive ink as well x<$38 versus $54 for the Canon printer.Pros: Easy to install and move. Has decent quality, but never tried to print photos on good photo paper.Cons: Only instructions came from the App. No display to tell you status. Ink is too expensive.

Works great. Easy setup and good price. Download the driver from Canons website for PC or MAC and run the printer via USB. On your phone download the Canon app and print wirelessly in one-click. It took roughly 10 minutes to setup both. 5 stars for convenience.

I noticed overall that the printer was rated decent, but if I had read the reviews i could have saved myself some headaches. The printer will not connect to WiFi, and even when I followed the video for connecting the WiFi by use of the USB; the option didn't exist in my install compared the the video. Yes the video on Canon's YouTube was for the MG3022, and I have the MG3020. I suppose this is the cheap printer only for USB attached use. I'm just too used to my HP all in one, and will likely try HP's low end option when this printer runs out of ink. This is due to the ink costing $2 less than a new printer. This gives me the option to see if my belief in HP is better.

This printer works great for my needs. I just do light printing of documents. My old printer needed new cartridges which would have cost more than getting this new printer. So I decided to get a new printer instead. (The replacement cartridges for this model are reasonably priced.) The white color is also a nice change. I have no complaints and I would buy again.

Great printer for the price! Figuring out how to print wirelessly with an iphone was tricky as this printer isn’t AirPrint compatible. Got it to work eventually though! Also is pretty loud while printing, but you get what you pay for I guess! Otherwise no complaints
