Brabantia 0.3/ 0.6/ 1.Litre Glass Stackable Jars, Set of 3, Light Grey/ Dark Mint

These are quite a thin glass and I nearly sent them back but I have a pyrex serving dish that it is the same thin glass and still in one piece so I did keep them, and I'm very glad I did as I now love them.Despite being airtight the lids are very easy to remove and replace, and keep clean. The minimalist design looks really good when they are left out on the worktop. They stack neatly as well.The smallest size is probably the most useful as it us perfect for instant coffee and tea leaves. The medium one is quite large and holds a good amount of ground coffee and lives in the fridge door. It would probably be good for anybody who uses sugar or teabags. The large one I have hardly used as I'm not into displaying pasta etc. and it seems a waste of money to have such an expensive jar sitting in a cupboard. I did fill it with hot juice prepared for jam making and it was reassuring to know it could take hot liquids without breaking. I will use it next time I make kimchi in which case it will make a very attractive container for serving. It would also be good for putting muesli on the table.On reflection I'd probably have done better to buy three of the smaller ones but then all the lid colours would be the same grey. The pale blue lid colours are particularly attractive.They are very easy to wash and will look good for years to come. I will be buying more small ones and I'd consider buying even smaller ones as well if they ever do such a thing.

As well as being stackable these jars have a small footprint so are excellent space-savers. The seal is fully airtight and makes the jars perfect for things that must be stored airtight. I use for things like flour, larger spices/herbs such as cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, nutmegs etc. Also good for pasta, rice and pulses. The 1.9L (not included with this set) is the perfect size for storing spaghetti. The jars stack securely and look good too.Evidence of being airtight - The (strong) aroma of fresh cinnamon bark does not escape from the jar, although there is an extremely faint whiff detected if you stick your nose right alongside the jar (I do accept that this does not represent typical human behaviour though lol). When compared to the Spicestore jars I have from Joseph Joseph, which are almost identical in design, the seal is much better on the Brabantia product.My only moan is that Brabantia don't sell a set that includes a jar for spaghetti, but since that is my personal preference, I cannot really give anything less than five stars! Fantastic set of storage jars! I ordered 2 sets of the set of 3 to organise my baking cupboard. They arrive well packaged in the brabantia box in the sizes 0.3 L , 0.6 L and 1.1 L. They are a lovely quality and look very stylish. The lids are different colours consisting of grey and 2 different shades of blue.Ive used the smaller jars for chocolate chips, marshmallows, nuts and sugars. The larger I've used for cocoa powder and icing sugars. The lids are airtight so will keep the contents fresh. Today I've ordered another 2 lots of the set of 3 to organise my pastas and rice as I have a lot of bags opened and they make so much mess. I also ordered the 1.1L seperately as I need more of the bigger storage. This arrives with a black lid but is the same size as the largest that comes in the set of 3I've ordered lots of different types of storage in the past and have to say these are the best. They take up minimal room, look nice and are stackable. Would recommend!

These jars are great and I keep buying more of them. They stack well and the variety in size lets me store what i need easily. I love that I can easily see what in each of them and it optimizes my shelf & counter space well.The seal is pretty good, but not perfect. Some items (ie musli, shredded coconut, sugar) have slowly gone stale or gotten a bit stuck together over many months. So they may not be ideal for all items if you don't use up fairly regularly. But overall they've very good

Love these containers, been looking for something clean looking and stackable but also airtight. They are also 100% dishwasher proof.I bought two sets of 3 as it was cheaper and gave me a good mix of sizes. The set of 3 is indeed not black but the blue, light blue & grey lids but I prefer these colours to plain black. It seems that if you purchase it separately, you may get the black. The set comes in its bespoke box which is why it isn't black. I have included pictures of the box to illustrate.

I really like Brabantia as a brand, because their goods are always very good quality. This is a lovely set of jars. Clean lines and smart appearance. Glass is thick enough, and feel sturdy (not fragile), but not too heavy, and the lids fit well.

I love these. I have bought about 7 sets and have had them for about 6 months. They are airtight (as far as I can tell). There are two tiny holes in the suction ring but this is necessary to allow the lid to go on. The glass seems to be more resilient that it looks, as they've suffered a few knocks from my kids and survived. They stack well and look fab!!!! I contacted Brabantia before I purchased these and they also said the lids are BPA free.They are also really light even though they are glass which I really like.

I love these jars: they’re made of glass so that was one of my requirements, the top is silicon but is airtight.I bought 3 sets and store from dried fruits, nuts to cereals, rice and sugar, everything looks good and well stored.My cupboard looks tidy, I can buy stuff in zero-waste store and have a lovely place to put stuff in in my kitchen!

Me encantan, los recibí de regalo y cuando los encontré en amazon los agregué a mi carrito para completar mi set en la alacena. Claro que esperé algunos meses para que estuvieran en oferta :)Muy buena calidad, son de vidrio y las tapas de plástico con hule para cerrar al vacío.Me parece que se ven muy elegantes y es una buena manera de ordenar la alacena.

These things are amazing.I've been looking for a long time for good storage for my many nice teas. I ordered a set of these in my one of my initial rounds and while they were the perfect fit for my needs, I balked at the price when I went to order more. After trying MANY other brands, I eventually grit my teeth and ordered a bunch. Here's what makes them worth the expense:1. They're beautiful, high quality, and feel great in your hands. So many of the others I tried looked or felt kludgy, not something I wanted my collection of fancy teas to live in. They also feel nice and light, while still not seeming delicate and fragile.2. They take up a minimum amount of space for the storage capacity. Many of the other nicer looking and high quality brands have giant lids that take up a ton of space, or a locking contraption that constantly catch on other lids and require a gap between jars in the cupboard. They're also straight-sided, which means that you don't lose out on any capacity from a superfluous taper or slope.3. They have a nice airtight(ish) seal. I haven't done extensive testing, but the rubber-like gaskets on the lid slides securely a few centimeters into the jar which appears to seal it up well for my purposes. (Something like coffee has a much shorter shelf life, so you may need something with a big ol locking mechanism, but it's a sufficient seal for my purposes.)4. They really, for reals, stack. The lids have a slight lip that the bottom of the next jar rests securely within. AND all of the different sizes in this set stack on top of one another since they share the same size lids.This seems so simple, but has been really difficult to find in my search. Many stacking systems have some kind of snapping mechanism, which makes them difficult to take in and out of cupboards; some kind of giant lid contraption that takes up a ton of space,. Or they may have flat lids atop which you technically /can/ set the next jar, but it will be a precarious arrangement that inevitably leads eventually to the clang of jars tumbling to bottom of the cabinet if you're lucky, or a cascade hitting the floors and your toes if you're not.It seems that Brabantia doesn't sell these new in the US anymore, which is why they're so damned expensive. I wish they would either start distributing them here again, or that one of the other brands (I'm looking at you Guzzini and OXO) would design products that match my criteria. In the meantime, these are hands down the best food storage jars in class on the market.
