Best quality cornmeal for both sweet and savoury dishes. I gave it 3 stars for value for money but I am mindful of the difficult times we are experiencing at present.

A finer cornmeal would yield a smoother cornbread but I quite like it coarse. I also use this to insulate the bottom of the bread in my cloche when baking (underneath some baking paper) - to prevent an overdone bottom crust.

If you are buying this to make traditional romanian polenta it is very fine. It will still work but you will not get the same consistency as you would expect.

Does the job, good price and packaged well.

Good strong Cornmeal. Great for Jamaican Porridge and hard dumplings. Tastes good.
