Biotne Dry Mouth Mouthwash, Moisturising & Alcohol Free Oral Wash, 500 ml

Having recently and very suddenly found myself with a bone dry mouth during the night, causing me very poor sleep, I needed to try something and settled on this. The reviews seem to indicate that it can keep a mouth moist for half the night and I thought good enough for me!The flavour is a pleasant spearmint and sweet, very clean and refreshing. As I have no dry mouth issue during the day I'll probably stick with my usual mouthwash for the morning and keep this just for nighttime.So, used this at about 10pm, woke about 1:30am, a good 3 1/2 hours of sleep. The mouth at that point was dry but not quite as bad as usual, so I gave myself a spray on the tongue as I'd purchase that at the same time to compare, worked the spray around with my tongue to make sure it coated everything and went back to sleep. A repeat about 3:30-4am sadly but after that I slept on with a nice moist mouth and woke up quite satisfied with the improvement.One night test only but it did help me, and hopefully will continue to. If it does as I feel fairly confident it will, then it was money well spent and for now at least deserving of 5*.

I’ve been dealing with dry mouth and this mouthwash has made a noticeable difference. It’s gentle, alcohol-free, and the mint flavour is mild but refreshing. I use it daily and it leaves my mouth feeling much more comfortable.

I'm probably not alone in believing that this product contained 'natural saliva enzymes' in it. That's because, before Glaxo-Smith-Kline bought Biotene out from the original makers it did, and people often mentioned that to me! Now (since around 2009) it just contains glycerine, polypropolene glycol etc. It still works ok, but I admit I was a bit devastated when I bothered to check, I've been using it for years under that misapprehension!

I struggle with sensitive teeth and gums and used to get a lot of cavities, which became a thing of the past after I started using the Biotene Mouthwash Great mouth. Delivery was fast and efficient

Although I do use this mouthwash. and toothpaste it isn’t because I think it is brilliant it is just a better toothpaste and mouthwash than anything else on the market at the moment unless someone else that suffers from bms has found another brand that I can try because believe me I have tried practically everything else that I can lay my hands on and suffer the price I would love to hear from anyone who has found something else that suffers from bms to pass on their preferences, dry mouth is the least of my worries.

This mouthwash works wonders! Really leaves my mouth moisturised and lasts a good couple of hours. Nice mild taste with no burning. I also use the biotene toothpaste and dry mouth gel.

This product is a mouth wash. It freshens my mouth and doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste. It gives me the confidence to smile all day long and now I can not do without it

Nice mint flavour (not overpowering) and like it can be used over the whole day. Seems to help with my dry mouth but coating doesn't last if you drink lots of water as I do. Would recommend using alongside the toothpaste for a fresh feeling mouth.
