very nice
Another super little hutch for a chicken. The hens have a proper henhouse, but they do like sleeping in the bunny house we got as an emergency shelter one winter - and one of them has now chosen the cat carry box as a bed, which is very plastic and ugly. Two best friend Bantams can snuggle together in this size box overnight or one broody hen can sit in here and growl at invaders. This box took all of 10 minutes to assemble. I purposely left the roof removable. They do have a strong smell of wood stain when new, so it will stand outside for a day or two before letting the birds in.There are no plastic ends on the legs. The floor of these boxes goes in easily if you drop them down at an angle first. In addition I have now fastened the roof hinges on - very easy to do if you put the box upside down on its roof to line the hinges up.And I unscrewed the door as it would soon be a rotten ramp. And I did the same with the old box, and I see that this new box, apart from its lack of plastic leg ends, is considerably sturdier and altogether better quality and will probably stand up to the weather better.

A lovely little kennel for the price & suitable for Cat's!
A really smart little kennel of which I'm very pleased we bought. To answer a frequently mentioned question - and one we asked, it will definitely fit an average size cat as it does ours. Our cat had been using a fabric house we placed in the greenhouse but that was getting a little old and overrun by the ivy (to cold to be out there trimming it down). As it was coming up to Christmas we thought we'd buy him a nice new house and my wife spotted this.We received it quickly but it is in a decent size package so not suitable for locker delivery (which is a godsend I will add!) but luckily my wife was at home that day. I got prepped to assemble it expecting a bit of a nightmare but quite the contrary I had it assembled within about 20 minutes. Its put together with 8 nuts/bolts & a few screws for the top opening roof hinge. Once assembled I added the Ancol - Self Heating Pet Pad Cat/Dog Bed - Medium that I had bought with this inside. the pad is a little big length wise but if you bunch it up at the back slightly it fits fine and will likely only serve to make it even more snug!Kept this inside a few days with some treats in to get the cat acquainted with it (he's a strange one) and put it outside after apx 3 days. All i can say is he loves it. Whenever I look outside he is sat inside it and will often go outside and straight in there! We feel much better leaving him out for longer periods in the winter now when we go to work or out for the day.Sturdy construction, pre weather treated and leakproof (so far).If you have a cat then get them this kennel. For the price I paid at the time (£35 inc shipping) it's well worth it.

Nice but my cat is not a fan!
I bought this for my cat, even though it's aimed at rabbits and guinea pigs. The cat will stand at the patio door waiting to get in and sometimes if she goes out late at night she has got locked out for the night! I thought a little kennel/shelter would be good so if she was stuck outside at least she has somewhere dry to go.Well, she won't go near it unfortunately! It's big enough for her and I can't fault the construction; it was easy to put together and has sat outside for 3 months now looking as good as new. The cat just will not go in to it! There is just about room in it for her to turn around but maybe it's a bit small for her liking. It smelled strongly at first of whatever stain/coating was used which probably didn't help. It is big enough to fit an igloo style cat bed which I'd put in for extra heat/insulation but still no luck. Once I put catnip in it which she loved for 5 mins and she hasn't returned to it since! I am going to try a different bed in it and some pheromone spray and of those don't work then it will be going on Gumtree! I'm sure it's brilliant for rabbits, guinea pigs and less fussy cats, just not for mine!ETA: Forgot to add, one day in extremely bad, very windy weather the roof blew open. It didn't break the hinge or anything but just shows the lid is light enough to be blown open. I now have a patio slab on top to keep it weighed shut!ETA: In around May I realised that a stray tom cat has started using this little house which is still in my back garden! It still has the igloo bed inside it and I tried to insulate the house a bit with some polystyrene sheets. He sleeps in it on cold nights, it's now Sept. and I saw him curled up in it last night. So my cat was obviously just being a fussy madam. I'm glad the stray kitty is getting use out of it!ETA: It is now over 18 months since I purchased this little house, and the stray cat still uses it regularly. House is in great condition still, no issues with it, the stray seems to like his residence in my garden! I have attached a photo from a cold night a few months back, when I'd stuck a hot water bottle in the house for him.

Sturdy and Easy to Assemble
The item came extremely well packaged. The instructions were easy to follow. A spanner was required to tighten the nuts and bolts and screwdrivers, but otherwise everything required was included. It went together with no problems at all and looks good. We bought this for our cats to use when they are in their cat enclosure and it was used within a few minutes of being placed outside. It is sturdy and should be weatherproof. Very satisfied with the product.

Nice roomy hutch
This hutch is well made and provides plenty of room for my two large tortoises. It’s nice and snug and looks great. They love it and go to bed in it every night.

Very good for cats
Really easy to put together, lightweight and perfect for our stray cat who lives in the garden. I like that you can lift the lid to easy clean out straw or pop a hot water bottle in on those really cold nights.

Opening too small
This cage is ideal for my tortoise but the door width is not wide enough by about 4cms to allow easy access for my adult tortoise. Please could you make this product with a wider door pkease
