a must have for rookie arc welders
i've been welding for many many years, but never got into any Arc welding. I only ever did Mig welding. I needed this calculator to figure out my voltage on different sticks. there's 3 different calculators in the package. Tig , arc, mig. I only needed the arc calculator. I find it very useful and helpful. its made from good quality thick plastic like paper and will last a long time comes in a nice plastic protective Storage sleeve too. I recommend buying this product

Super handy at work
I got these to have at work for a quick reference and they're great. I'm a heavy truck and trailer mechanic so not welding full time I don'talways remember settings off the top of my head so this guide is great. It's durable enough for frequent "thumbing" and is clear and concise with all the information you need to set up for a quality weld in a handy size. Highly recommended.

Covers the bases.
Buy the pack and be done. Good for all aspects. And even your friends might call you to see what would be the best settings to start with.

A welding essential for occasional welders
First, note that I only received one of the MIG calculators, even though the photo on the listing shows two.Aside from this discrepancy between the photo and the offering, what was received is in good condition, new, and covers all of the calculators needed to get started with MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and stick (SMAW) arc welding. These calculators are easy to use to set up the welding machine, and easy to store with the machine for repeated reference. They don’t require batteries nor put your smartphone near the hot molten metal, so are much more convenient than more “modern” methods of reference. While it also helps to consult the charts on the consumables for MIG and stick, these calculators help to understand a lot of variables that go into selecting your operating point.Well worth every penny. Just don’t be upset if you only get one of each, because it might be worth getting several sets.

Great, easy to use calculator
This is a great reference for the occasional welder (maybe experts too, though I am certainly not one and can't speak to that.) It has been noted that guides like these are by no means 100% accurate, I've found the ideal settings to be outside the noted range from time to time, but they give a fantastic starting point for welder settings, I'm very much a beginner and would have had to search online for whatever thickness/metal type I'm using every time I weld.Small side note , the fact that it comes with separate guides for TIG, stick , and MIG is nice if you have separate machines.

Great quick reference solution for the occasional welder
Package includes three slide calculators; TIG, MIG, and Stick and they come in a resealable plastic envelope. These are great for the novice or occasional welder who needs a quick way to figure out where to start with setting for each of the three processes. What I really like about these three are the cost and the size. The Miller cards are made from rigid cardboard and seem to hold up pretty well. I have used/seen others that were larger and made from thinner material and those take up more space and are easily creased making them more difficult to use.I really did not need all three but for the price I figured I would buy the package. Bottom line is, if I lost one or was helping someone get started learning a new process I would buy them again. It is easier than digging out the book.

Miller Electric 043125 Package Calculator
This is a very useful set of three individual slide chart calculators for MIG, TIG and Stick welding. The charts make a handy quick reference for someone like me that doesn't normally weld everyday and sometimes may not for months at a time. There is even an area included for Flux Core. The MIG chart is the one I currently use the most and it can really help save me a lot of time on preliminary set up and test welds at different amperage and wire feed rates for whatever material type I am working with. The three calculators even came with a nice vinyl zip lock sleeve to store them in and I think the price here on Amazon was very reasonable, so am quite happy with the purchase.

Great Tool to have whether Novice or Experienced
These Miller Calculator charts are great to have at any level of welding. I look at these charts almost every time I weld and I think they are a great tool to have. You have a TIG, Stick, and MIG calculator for metal thickness, wire speed (MIG), and Volts. I use Stick guide almost every time I go to Stick Weld to double check the metal thickness via the Electrode Type. My Miller 215 does most of the calculation for the MIG setup, but I still like to check (AND LEARN) the proper settings.Just a great tool to have. Great Value from Miller.
