This review is for the Velona brand argan oil. I've purchased 2 other brands of argan oil before but I never realized that there's a difference between this brand and other brands until I compared the ingredients. The other brands had alot of added chemicals including dimethicone and fragrance, and I discovered that velona's argan oil is pure (according to their ingredients list).I originally bought argan oil just to help with frizzy and unmanageable hair. The 3 brands had similar results when it came to frizziness. They all tamed the frizziness, added shine, and made my hair look healthy. In that regard, velona brand works similar to the other 2 brands.It wasn't until I applied velona's argan oil to my face that I noticed a big difference. I didn't even know that I could apply it to my face until I read the info on the bottle. After 2 days of applying it to my face before sleep, I noticed my skin had no irritation, skin looked smoother, redness was gone, and my face looked brighter (like I had used a lightener). Initially I forgot that I had applied argan oil and was wondering why my skin looked so good. I normally use different skincare products on my face, but I took a break for a week or two, so I know that it's the argan oil that's improving my skin. (To be fair, I didn't try the other brands of argan oil on my face. But now that I know that those brands have alot of added chemicals, I don't even want to try putting them on my face).Velona's was one of the cheapest price/ounce that I found. I'm not an expert on argan oil so I checked online to see what argan oil should smell like and velona's does indeed have a subtle nutty scent as described on the internet. So far, velona's argan oil is working well for me. It initially feels greasy, but after a short time, it absorbs into my skin and most of the greasiness is gone. I will continue to be a customer.

Had super dry skin. My Nurse Practitioner recommended Jojoba oil. I bought some and it worked in a matter of a couple days My skin was very dry due to chemo. I will keep this on hand. Which reminds me I have always been OCD with clean hands. I couldn’t even put moisturizer on them without them feeling dirty. This stuff soaks in so quickly you honestly can’t feel it on, it is all natural, colorless and odorless. Well worth the couple dollars I spent. I will buy again.

I bought this for my hair and decided to try this product because it was a good price. It works great. My hair tends to get dry and it is very fine. This oil works to give my hair weight and a light shine. It is absorbed super fast and is not oily. I now use it on my arms and chest after I shower as a moisturizer, in addition to my hair.

Almost spent more money on a 2oz bottle of beard oil, but then found this. I’m glad I did! I already knew argan oil worked well for my skin as I’ve used it for oil cleansing in the past, but I didn’t expect to find it so reasonably priced. Arrived foil-sealed and free of leaks, with two alternative caps. Doesn’t smell like anything, so there’s no interference if you’d like to add a scent.Doesn’t irritate my eczema/acne-prone, and works great as a beard oil (curly/coarse beard, but also works for the finer hair on my head). Lightweight compared to many other hair/skin oils, but of course it’s not weightless. If you apply too much, any oil will feel greasy, but this is on the lower end of the spectrum. Absorbs fast, which is great for using it on skin - it glides on and doesn’t feel wet or sticky. If you have fine hair, try sticking to a few drops on the ends of damp hair (your hair will be less absorbent, allowing a smaller amount to be distributed evenly.)I do wish the pump top were a little less enthusiastic, as it’s tricky to get smaller amounts from it. That said, the bottle also came with a flip top cap (think shampoo bottle) as an alternative. It’s easier to get a few drops with that. There’s also the screw top it shipped with, which has ridges to make it easier to grip and unscrew.

The product is five stars, but I removed a star for the problems with the bottle. My hair has been so dry, tangled, and frizzy this fall and winter but a little of this makes my hair silky and smooth. I like to brush it through my hair when it's still wet after washing but I've also used it after it's dry to smooth my hair. I don't have to use much and it doesn't look oily or r greasy like other products I've tried. It's also wonderful as a skin moisturizer and for my cuticles and fingernails which are dry as well. Very pleased there isn't any noticeable or added fragrance; I'm especially sensitive to fragrances and this passed my test. The only problem is that I think the manufacturer melted the top of the bottle when sealing it with foil. I had a heck of a time removing the foil and still couldn't get pump on. I couldn't get the pump screwed on. After scraping and filing down the mouth of the bottle I finally got the pump attached.***Manufacturer, please fix this bottle problem to get five stars!!!

Love it!!!!!!!! My skin feels like a babyyyyy, so much lighter than baby oil!!! Now that it’s summer I like to rub it on my collar bone it gives a sexy sheen. But the only thing I will be honest I don’t like is the smell. It’s not a strong smell but if you do smell it, it’s like just not pleasant. It’s has a slight stickiness to it but not to the point it’s like gross can’t wait to wash this off me it is light weight. I plan to buy a body oil to mix it with or maybe just going to mix with one of my essential oils like lavender to help with the smell.

I bought this to help prevent my stretchmarks from getting worse from my pregnant belly & it's reducing the appearance of the ones already there. I also put some on my husbands hair and it looks thicker already. This is a must have for everyones household. I will continue to keep this stocked up as it has replaced my moisturizers because of its light-weight effectiveness.
