Q: Are the questions are on one side (2x4) and the answer (8) on the back? It looks, from the pictures that both bits are on the same side.

The question alone is on the question side so it is possible to self test. Both the question (small) and the answer (big) are on the answer side

Q: how do play that? I have them but don't know how to use them

I play it like a memory game. I give the cards to my daughter and ask her to memorise them for a week at the end of the week. I test her by holding the cards up e.g 3x4 ask my child what the answer is and let her tell me. Keep doing it until she's familiar with one set of tables then move onto another set of tables. Again repeat the method of memorising the cards and later testing the child after the end of the week. Once they get use to that game. Do a memory game set the pack out on the floor and call out the tables one at a time. Let the child find the correct one. Once finished let them learn the times tables in front of them again until they begin to remember them off by heart. I hope this has helped. Good Luckð`

I found them useless, didnt help in any way. Ended up making my own plain cards which worked much better. It took my son 2 months with normal cards only doing 5-10 mins a day.

All three packs are included, covering twelve times tables (up to and including 12 x 12 - a total of 144 cards). The packs simply divide the cards into the order in which times tables are set out in the curriculum so you can easily find what you are looking for.
