Q: What is the difference in colour between the old pine and antique pine finishes, please?

Don"t know the answer to this one as I have only used antique pine and dark brown for the jobs I have been doing.

Rest Express - Wood Finishing Products: It's possible that the underlying colour may have an influence on the final result, so probably best to do a test patch first to determine the result. Yes this product is very good at covering scratches etc and makes pine furniture look like new.

Q: Can you use this on mdf furniture

I suppose it depends what surface you have on the MDF. This wax needs to soak in to the wood to colour it to antique pine and then polished with a buffing cloth. If the MDF board has any sealant on it this will just sit on the surface. MDF boards need protecting from moisture with a sealant really. So I do not think this is suitable at all.
