I didn't know that I could love an item this much. I take it with me to the recycle facility and cut up my Amazon boxes and people have asked me where to get one. As long as you're providing support for that box, it will cut right through all of them and is much safer than that utility knife. I've had it awhile now, and have yet to go through a blade so it has lasted well. I also have not had to recharge it yet. Cut up those boxes and it will save the recycle facility having to move in more containers more often. I've had it 4 months now, no charges and no changing of blades needed yet.

It’s great for what I want to use it for, cutting up boxes to fit in the recycling bin. It work great on medium size boxes, but struggled some on larger TV boxes, especially when cutting across the seams, but over all it was worth the purchase.

Because I live rurally, and am not particularly fond of going to the store, I order a lot of things online. As a result I am continually inundated with cardboard boxes I either have to take to recycling or burn, both of which require being cut down smaller for either transportation, or fitting in the burn barrel. I figured something like this would make that job easier, and boy was I right. Works WAY better than a razor knife, and is safer for me to use, plus I don't have to worry about accidentally slicing my counter or floor while doing it. This thing goes through most boxes like butter, and holds a charge pretty well. The only thing that could be better is the placement of the unlock button, which I find awkward.

I’m not actually sure how I went this long without owning this.The days or wrestling cardboard boxes of every imaginable shape and size, just trying to cram them into the recycle bin, are behind me. Now I rule over my discarded cardboard.I just line this little doodad up on the folded areas of a box, mash the little trigger deal, and poof! Instant satisfaction! All my big boxes are now neat little rectangles and squares. I could fit millions of them in the recycle bin now. Maybe I’ll start cutting boxes into triangles and circles, just to show of for the guy driving the garbage truck.It’s fast, it’s easy, and it’s oodles of fun.

I bought 2 different brands including this one. Both about the same price, returned the first ( would not cut through card board box ). This one, unfortunately, the same, takes alot of pressure to cut through. Maybe I am just to weak, strength is lacking at my age. I will say, cuts through leather okay. Don't know if this is a keeper.

Purchased because I have arthritis and this helps me break down cardboard. It does not but cardboard like butter. It is a bit difficult to cut cardboard works great for fabrics though
