So easy to use...
This must be my 4th bottle & that's because it works really good no really hard work just spay and after a little while i just wipe it clean with kitchen paper & it's looking new again. I have tried only two other types that say they will clean the glass on my log burn BUT they don't really get it clean as this product does. In my opinion it's worth every penny, it works great, saves a lot of time in cleaning and makes my glass look bran new, so that night I light the log burner it's that great feeling of just watching those flames & knowing that it only took me 5 minutes out of my day just to clean.

Bang and the tar is gone!
I found this to be brilliant. I've had my stove less than a year and up to now hot water, a thick cloth and elbow grease (not the product) has kept the door clean. Our wood store recently got wet and despite best efforts some of the wood got damp. I think this may have caused the build up on the door.Having lost the will trying to get the residue off the old fashioned way, I thought I'd give this a go. For £6.99 it was worth a try.I went overboard covering the hearth, tiles and carpet with 3 old thick bath sheets but better safe than sorry. I also used thick rubber gloves. I sprayed the door, starting at the top. Although this is a foam, it's consistency is a little watery so it will run. I wiped up the drips with kitchen roll which I placed straight into a bin liner.Immediately the residue started to dissolve. I left it a few minutes, wiped again then did a second round to catch the bits I'd missed. I then thoroughly washed the door with hot water and clean clothes.I'm very impressed. Whilst I'm all for trying to do things with as few products as possible, there is no way I could have achieved this by hand. Even the silver door plates are gleaming, and I'd forgotten they were there!Highly recommend, but follow the safety advice even if you don't go my extremes!

Fantastic
Having 2 glass fronted stoves we use this glass cleaner often. It's amazing, so quick & easy, the black on the glass just dissolves & runs off. A quick wipe with a wet cloth then dry with kitchen roll & it's perfect.Ps put newspaper underneath the doors because it runs off onto the hearth.

Brilliant,
This product is the best stove glass door cleaner I’ve ever used. Removes even heavy staining easily and quickly. I just spray on a few “blobs” of the foam cleaner then wipe it over the glass with a soft cloth and leave for a few minutes. Then wipe it clean with a clean damp cloth, as instructions. Tip, don’t leave the product to dry on the glass as then it’s harder to clean the glass. I recommend this cleaner unreservedly.

Messy
Even though I shook the bottle first it didn’t come out as foam straight away. Found it messy to use, did clean the glass. Needed to wear gloves when using

An Effective Product
I found that using the cleaner as recommended, spraying on the glass, causes its own problems. The foaming liquid runs down the glass and drips off the door and all over the hearth. You can use appropriate protection but I realised that this isn't really necessary.I used a soft, small paintbrush, placed it against the nozzle of the sprayer and ejected the foam gently into the bristles. I brushed the glass using a stippling action until all the dirty area was covered, adding more liquid as required and left it for about five minutes. Using a plastic scouring pad made by Tefal for use on non-stick pans, even hard tar deposits were readily removed. This method uses very little liquid and virtually no mess.I find that the recommended method of using wood ash is useless for tar deposits and only affects glass lightly coated with soot.I've used a wood stove now for about fifteen years and the household cleaner, Revive, has proved very effective for light glass deposits but having discovered HG, the removal of stubborn tar is so easy.Excellent product!
