Dexam 17840907 Rectangular Cooling Rack 40cm x 25cm, Silver

These stainless steel coated cooling racks, whilst I'm certain would be suitable for cakes, tarts and biscuits, have been put to a rather different use in our household. I had a problem with the fitted cover on my fish tank in that the condensation was leaking all over the wooden tank stand causing it to stain. I came across these racks and ordered two for the top to prevent the fish from jumping out and they do the job really well! One has to ensure that the water is topped up from time to time but I'm really satisfied with them.

Very happy with these. I bought two of them. Legs are a bit shorter than I’d expected (only got my mums ones to compare them with). Baking looks much better on them than it did in the grill pan thing that I’ve been using for the past couple of decades! Feel solid and as though the will last. Plus of the short legs is that they don’t take up much space. Very happy baker.

Bought for someone else so I can't comment on individual features, but I liked that the squares are smaller than many similar racks. I really can't see why some racks cost a lot more. This one is a very reasonable price.

Good cooling rack and decent quality for the price.Amusingly though in order to fit its enormous girth into the box for delivery some wag decided it was best to fold it in half. Amazon issued a refund without issue though and the folded rack was hammered back into shape to begin its life of cooling cakes and buns in a wobbly uneven way.No points docked from the product as the issue was Amazon's not the products.

Another basic from Amazon that does exactly the job I wanted it to - hold cakes or biscuits to let them cool down and air a bit to avoid condensation under the cake or biscuit. This is slim and therefore easy t tuck out of the way and big enough to I can cool down two round sandwich tins worth of sponge. It is good and sturdy and I have no complaints at all.

Really great rack. Usually, the racks I've used have bits stick up in the corners where the legs are, minimizing the amount of room you actually have, but these are so large and wide, and make use of all the space.. so you can cool a whole load of things at once.Because the legs are so flat/short on this, it's also really easy to store. It's well made and I have no complaints.Really happy with this purchase.

Takes a tray bake 12x9 or two 8” sandwich cakes side by side, fed up with faffing about with ones which were too small. Sturdy enough, easyish to clean in as far as any small metal squares are, but good quality so would recommend this one.
