We love this for spike training or other kinds of play and fun in the backyard! We found to use it most efficiently we have to secure everything in place properly, that includes the ball. A trick we'll often do is to get it locked into place and ready to go with the ball not fully inflated, and then inflate the ball to proper regulation and that keeps it extra secure while giving the most practical means of training!

This does work, but it’s kind of a pain to get it adjusted just right. I tied it around my waist and I wish it had a different kind of buckle for making that easier. The rope is a good length.

We actually put this lower to the ground so my son could practice diving and sliding down to get lower balls. We can adjust it higher but this is really great practice for him since he doesnt have to chase the ball around the yard or neighbors yards also

This spike trainer works great. It can be setup anywhere with two connection points. I set it up on my back yard awning as well as our community sport court although I had to extend the width with bungee cords. It keeps the ball in a consistent location letting you repeat the same approach and practice your spikes! I think this is great and give it a 10 out of 10.

It's hard to see in the picture, but we hung it between two trees. We are hoping to get something set up in our garage because it has a high ceiling. It's easy to use and set up (even though there are no directions, but it's self-explanatory). I bought this for my daughter to practice. She said she really likes it to work on her approach. If anything, it's going to help her jump more and have a stronger vertical!Is it possibly the best design... maybe not. But it beats me trying to set balls to her for hours. Plus, the snow will come here soon and this will allow her to practice without having to set up the net at the gym all the time.
