Fantastic mower
Well first of all I am 72 years old and 112 lbs and to live alone with my four dogs. This lawn mower is so nice and I can push it with just one hand! It glides through the grass like butter and I wish I had bought it years ago. But I have it now and in fact I just got through cutting my grass and It looks beautiful. I actually don't mind cutting the grass even in 80° heat. The other one I had has a catcher for the grass but as you cut I would have to stop, turn around, tilt the mower and walk back in order for it to throw the clippings out Because as the clipping collected it got harder to push. Grass clippings are great for your yard. This lawn mower has a small catcher and it does collect grass but nowhere near like the other one I have. The clippings just fly over and onto your grass and now and then I do have to turn around and let the clippings that have been collected back into my yard. I'm telling you, you can't go wrong with this mower! I did have difficulty putting it together though. Getting that handle around those bolts is a b!tch. I had to turn the mower on its side and lean against The handle pushing as hard as I could and with my free hands lift the handle and try to get it to go over the bolts. I had to stop several times because I mean that's difficult if you're not a strong person. The rest of it was a breeze. It's quiet It cuts well and I also ordered one of the handheld sharpeners for when the blade gets dull I can sharpen them. 😁 I highly recommend getting this mower If you are a single woman you can do your grass with no problem and will wonder why you ever had a man do it for you. 🤷

Great Purchase!!
Best Purchase ever! So I have a 13 inch electric mower with basket and it takes me about 3 hours to cut my lawn. With the manual mower, I spent 1.5hrs. It literally cut my time in half and gave my lawn such a nice clean cut. I was surprised !!Only negative maybe because I am a petite woman, but connecting the handle bars onto the bottom part was terrible. You definitely need strength for that. I was sweating trying to attach this dang thing together. You have to bend the bars in order to fit it onto the small post by the blades. But once it was all set, it was a breeze. Also, I like that I can adjust the mulching ability for a lower cut if needed. The 18inch blades are great because it covers a larger area. I highly recommend it.Be prepared for a full body workout! I have a wedding end of June and I know my arms are definitely going to be in shape!! LolVideos to follow soon!!

Amish for the win.
Bought this in a pinch after riding lawn mower needed repair and didn’t want to spend $500 on a push mower. Gotta say the Amish are really onto something. Cuts grass great, won’t cut tall weeds or anything like that. So if your yard is primarily grass it’ll work fine. If it’s a collection of everything green don’t waste your money. Another added plus is no gas, no motor, no headache. Just start pushing and it cuts. A lot of reviews have said don’t use for big yards. It will work fine on a larger yard you just need to walk further, which for a lot of you high calorie humans is probably for the best. Overall great product for the price. Make Mowing Great Again!

Peaceful and efficient mowing experience, easy to put together
I am a renter with a small lawn. I dislike the noise of the gas powered mowers and the fight to start them. I didn't want to use the awful one that the landlord left me and didn't want to sink money into something that I didn't want. This reel mower was the perfect answer. Under $100!!! It was delivered, I put the handle on and did a test run. It worked but needed to be raised because my lawn has some divots and tree roots to get around here and there. I watched a video on how to raise it, did that and then it worked absolutely like a dream. It makes a scraping noise that is just the mower metal working, but that is it for noise. Sure beats needing to wear ear plugs. It cut my grass just like I was behind a gas mower, but just far more pleasant an experience. I followed up with my weed eater, no biggie. I am going to purchase the blade sharpener, too, eventually so it can keep working its best. Really pleased....another thing, if you have a bad time with grass and pollen allergies this mower also helps. It doesn't kick up everything into the air so that you are breathing all the grass, etc. Another helpful hint that I follow, don't go out to mow with your harmless reel mower while your neighbors are flinging about the grass and such with their gas powered mowers. Enjoy your peaceful mowing experience to the fullest!

Not a replacement for power mower
The lower bars have no pins to attach to the reel without using some strength to bend the bars into place. This is more of a grass trimmer than a mower and not a replacement for power mower. It’s difficult to mow without getting blades stuck with grass and even small pieces of mulch. Also cannot get into corners and fence edges because wheels and handles get in the way.It was easier to use pulling backwards with the rollers in front but will cut at higher height and also need to make multiple passes or cross hatch.Good for getting a sweaty workout and to get your steps in. What I pay for yard service is worth the price instead of DIY with this trimmer but will keep it for occasional yard maintenance without getting gas or power equipment.

never looking back
bought this when our gas mower quit and we've had it a year before it's finally needed sharpening (youtube taught us how to do so relatively inexpensively so don't bother paying someone $50-$60 they will charge to do it for you). we will happily do so to avoid the headache of a gas one again. we have a small yard in a mobile home park, so it's perfect for us. the grass seems healthier, there's less clumped up clippings, and I swear my grass allergy gets triggered less somehow. do it. it works. it's better. the only con I can think of is if you don't keep up on it and your grass gets really long, it gets hard to push.
