Nelson's TeaSassafras Root Bark - Ground Sassafras Albidum (1 oz)

I enjoyed the tea but the price is pretty steep. I have sassafras trees in my yard and have made tea from time to time using the root bark from a fallen tree. It is a challenge to collect it, so I cannot argue the price. For a robust flavor, it takes about 1/2-TBSP for a standard coffee mug and a 1-TBSP for a travel mug. So 1 oz. (the size I got) doesn't last long.

The image makes it look like its small chunks, but its actually a very fine powder. I suggest using a coffee filter if you're using this to make tea. Smells fresh, tastes like the sassafras tea I used to make out of fresh roots as a kid.

Good product but very small amount for price. Tasty though!

No brewing instructions. Not eligible for return and refund not available. Was very expensive for amount of product. Would not think about buying again. Big mistake
