Tumi And The Volume

One of the best MC's of this generation. To me, Tumi is THE voice South African Hip-Hop.Amazing album.

This is a great album. The mc and the band work in total harmony. Furthermore there are no references to 'fly get-ups' 'cash' 'money' or 'hoes' This is hiphop for adults. There's very little of this sorta stuff around these days, and if i had to compair it to anything else i'd say it lies some were between Digable Planets / Arrested Development and the Roots. Do your ears a favour....

Voila l'album que le groupe THE ROOTS devrait sortir.Ici c'est du rap vivant car nous avons un backing band au lieu d'une MPC et le résultat claque serieusement. Du bon rap comme on devrait en voir plus souvent. Avis aux amateurs d'un rap différent

Premier album très réussi de ce rappeur sud africain aussi impressionnant sur album que sur scène, car il s'agit avant tout de musique vivante jouée par des musiciens et non seulement de collages sonores.
