A good read
The Very Short Introductions are a major educational resource. There are presently over 500 small books covering a very wide range of subjects. Although short, the Introductions are substantial in content. Everyone would benefit from reading these books to broaden their knowledge and understanding in diverse areas of life. Perseverance with some subjects may be required but be prepared to be surprised, enlightened and enriched.

Brilliant little book (beware for med school interview though)
fantastic grounding to medical ethics. Be careful when preparing for medical school interviews as such detailed and sometimes risky opinions (especially to lay interviewers) is completely over and above what is expected. Stick to the medical ethics pillars and keep it simple.

Great for prospective medical students
An amazing read! As a student hoping to apply for medicine at university this book was very informative, and despite the occasional headache from some very controversial and complex ideas, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Presents arguments in a fun and interesting way
Very interesting book! Presents arguments in a fun and interesting way, which would otherwise be quite mundane topics to study! Easy to comprehend and covers issues at a great deal of depth despite being a tiny book!

Great for MMI
Excellent brief introductory text. Perfect for people applying to medical school as it covers a lot of the ethical scenarios that tend to come up in MMIs and normal interviews.
