Although short, the Introductions are substantial in content. Everyone would benefit from reading these books to broaden their knowledge and understanding in diverse areas of life. Perseverance with some subjects may be required but be prepared to be surprised, enlightened and enriched.

fantastic grounding to medical ethics. Be careful when preparing for medical school interviews as such detailed and sometimes risky opinions (especially to lay interviewers) is completely over and above what is expected. Stick to the medical ethics pillars and keep it simple.

An amazing read! As a student hoping to apply for medicine at university this book was very informative, and despite the occasional headache from some very controversial and complex ideas, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent brief introductory text. Perfect for people applying to medical school as it covers a lot of the ethical scenarios that tend to come up in MMIs and normal interviews.
