Really cute concept. Love the way they light up blue when the cookie squares hit the water.

These are super fun and great for making bath time exciting. We will turn the lights out and have fun with the glow in the dark. They’re simple to use and easy to clean. I definitely recommend these!

My little one loves his Cookie Monster Glo Pal. The 6 glo squares can be used in Cookie Monster one at a time or all at once without Cookie Monster. When placed in the water, they light up bright enough to be noticeable with the lights on and are pretty bright in the dark! When they are taken out of the water, the light turns off pretty quickly. I wish that the batteries were able to be swapped out for a more sustainable product. Once all of the batteries die, we will have to spend much more for replacement squares than batteries would cost.

Is there a really awesome. They light up when they are in the water but then when they dry out the shut off. What a great bad toy!

This set plus the other sets I ordered (elmo, Julia, Abby, and the birthday set) we’re awesome and my kids really loved them until they started to die off and now only a few are lighting up or barely lighting up. Little did I know that the box says in tiny print that they will stop working in a minimum of 30 days. Was worth it for the fun and excitement in my kids but not price worth it for them to die so quickly! Plus one of my Cookie Monster lights has a piece break off, definitely can be a hazard for littles. I have kids ages 7 to 1!

What an ingenious product! These Glo Pal cubes, with Sesame Street characters on them, light up brightly as soon as they get wet and turn off as soon as they are removed from the water. The set includes a rubbery matching character with bendable arms and legs, as well as a compartment where you can insert one of the six light up cubes. The box insert also can function as a background if a child is playing without using water. To be honest, I ordered this set for my grandchildren to play with when they visited us, but I enjoyed it as much as they did! And so did one of our cats who tried to fish out the cubes! There is something so relaxing about watching the cubes floating around!There are, however, a few downsides to the product. According to the instructions, each cube will last sixteen hours, before the batteries run out, which is not very long. Once that happens, you cannot replace the batteries. I understand the safety issue, as these are button batteries, but I’m surprised there is not a way to make them replaceable in a manner that children cannot access. The manufacturer states that they can be recycled, but you need to contact them for that information. I wish that information was included in the box. In fact, there is very little information included in the box. It definitely needs more than it has. We had to go back to the Amazon page to answer our questions about drying, batteries, life expectancy, etc. The box that holds the cubes indicated there was information on the inside, but that meant tearing the box open and it was only a safety warning.Our other disappointment is that the cubes float in a position where you can’t see the character on the front.I would probably buy these again for a special occasion, but the value for the money given the short life expectancy would make me think twice.

Glo Pals are used at every bathtime in our home. My favorite feature is that they are easy to get water out of (shake and then lay on their side for water to drain), which means NO MOLD, unlike bath squirties. We love the Sesame Street line and cookie monster is no exception! The blue is very vibrant and the little character is fun even after the pals have lost their light (which takes quite a few baths, too). I've given Glo Pals as gifts to several different ages and each time the parents ask where I got them and how I heard of them! Our toddler is getting more in her stocking this year even. They are very durable and big enough that even young kids can't swallow them. I can't recommend these enough!
