A versatile, good quality light
This light has stopped plenty of arguments over the lighting in the living room! It’s got multiple brightness settings, grips nicely on the side of the table. The rubber side of the grip moves over time so could do with a stronger glue but it can be re-placed as required

Generally a good design.
I always use the light on full brightness which means pressing the on button three times every time I use it. If it is going to be used in an orchestra situation it is probably ok to go from dim light to full brightness in that order? The light seemed brighter after the the first full charge, maybe the light could be more bright, but you probably have to pay more for that. The clip seems to work well, and it doesn’t take long to charge. It is generally a nice design and I think worth the price, but you may disagree!

Really good value for money
Much bigger than it looks in pictures, the head is quite wide. The clamp is large and the clamp force is strong, mine attached to one of the centre struts of an Ikea Kallax and does not budge. The neck is extremely bendy, it moves anywhere I want and stays there without the weight dragging the clamp around. The light is casts an even, cold light that can illuminate my entire room even on the lowest setting. Perfectly ample for reading yet harsh enough to find something youve dropped in the carpet or want to just avoid stepping on lego on your way to the loo at night. It charges from a Micro USB cable and so far (2 weeks) I haven't had to charge it at all. Battery seems to last ages! The only minus point I can give it is because there is only one button which cycles through the modes.Off - Low - Med - High - OffSo if you turn it on low in the middle of the night for whatever reason, you're going to have to cycle it to it it's brightest settings (waking up your partner) to turn it off. I've learned to bend the head down to the floor when I do so but it's a bit irritating. An on-off switch would have been terrific.Aside from that, really recommend it.

Perfect for the job
Bought for my husband to put on his music stand whilst playing in a band. Did the job perfectly. Being able to adjust the brightness is ideal.

Neat and tidy
This, overall, was a good purchase. The light is neat and unobtrusive, it clips well to the music stand of the piano and provides just the right amount of illumination. It avoids the tangle of wires because it is battery driven, but therein lies its difficulty - the charge doesn't last that long and it takes a good couple of hours to charge up again. It is however very portable and I guess could be used in a number of situations where a light is needed in an awkward situation.

Perfect for my music stand
This light is excellent. Three levels of brightness which is perfect even for poorly lit rooms. Not too heavy so attaches perfectly to my music stand.

Great light, highly recommended.
This light is great! The clip is really big and sturdy and opens wide enough to fit a large item. The neck is super flexible in all directions but stiff enough that it stays put in the position you choose. The light is nice and long giving a good area of light, has three brightness settings, the strongest being really bright, and is a clear white light which illuminates things without changing their colour. It has a rechargeable battery which so far I have plugged in overnight to charge then unplugged whilst using through the evening. So far I’ve had it on for about 6+ hours on the middle setting and it hasn’t run out or started fading. I’ve only had it a couple of days so can’t yet comment on durability, but so far so good. All in all I’d highly recommend!EDIT: after a couple of months the charging mechanism has completely packed in. Tried another USB cable and still nothing, so there’s clearly a connection problem. I’m getting a full refund and have yet to decide whether to buy another one and see if it was a one off fault or to shop elsewhere.

I finally found what I was looking for.
I finally found a piano light that a) clips on to a grand piano music desk, b) is unobtrusive, c) is black, d) is not too bright and c) is rechargeable so that cables are not draped over the piano. It's just the right size and the neck is long enough to reach over the music and be well positioned. The build quality seems satisfactory. It's a simple enough product but it does its job well.
