So I usually use a set that I made from copper pipe. But I'm using 1/8 inch thick exhaust gasket sheets. So I ordered these. The set cost basically $40 the exhaust paper cost $20 total of $60 Being so thick and having metal mesh in the center it worked.. On just regular paper gasket this would work well. My opinion it's worth the money. Doesn't cut well through metal mesh but turning the punch while hitting it helped a lot.

I have another set of hole punches that were quite a bit more expensive. I like this set better as it comes with a centering pin which makes it a lot easier to accurately locate holes

This punch kit works fairly well for punching holes in most anything you'd want to punch holes in. My application was sound deadening materials for a car audio install. It did what I needed, though the punches could stand to be a bit sharper. It took a bit more effort to get through 80/100 butyl than expected, but it did do the trick.

Not sharpened properly at all.Surfaces not flat or centered.Angled way too shallow, causing material to be pushed apart like a wedge, splitting or ripping the material if it's too thin or dry.The coarse angle would've been better left alone than this terrible sharpening quality on the cutting edge. Some of these are almost flat where they "sharpened" them.

Works like a charm. Helped me replace some out of manufacture gaskets for my VW EGR to muffle hook up. Kudos.

Nice looking set, fits together well. Would be nice if the punches were sharp enough to cut leather.it took more than 12 hard strikes with a 48 oz. maul to TEAR a 1 1/4" hole in 1/8" veg tan leather.
