Q: Does it make a lot of noise when you walk?

Yes it does, that is why I returned it.

Q: Just a note about two questions above. The pants do NOT cinch at the ankle with a drawstring. It's just loose elastic. Okay?

I removed the elastic, looks good for a wider look

Q: Can you put these in the dryer ?

We have other items, that seem to be the same material as these, and they are "in my opinion", too thin to use normal heat on your dryer. You may be able to dry them on medium or no heat. Im not sure what the tag said though.
