Nutramax Dasuquin Soft Chews for Large Dogs Joint Health Supplement 150CT

Recommended by our vet who directed us to amazon. Dog loves it but expensive.

This product was recommended to me for my 85lbs dog by my vet because I was worried about the slight limp in his hind leg. He gait was a bit off and he was bunny hopping when he runs. He sometimes lifts up his hind leg as if he had stepped on something painful but when I checked, there was never anything there. Preliminary x-rays by the vet didn't show any signs of damage to that leg but she said I should start him off on Dasuquin as soon as possible to see if it would help before we take further actions. Well, I have to say that this product has been really effective on my dog! I started him on it on a Friday night and by Monday morning, I can see that he was walking happily again and his gait was back to normal. That was barely three days later! It's almost been one month now since he's been taking Dasuquin daily, twice a day, and he has never lifted up that hind leg again. He walks fine now but to be safe, I try to keep him from running until I can be sure that he's completely healed. He wants to run and play badly but I'd rather be safe than sorry. As for the product itself, I bought the 150ct soft chew and it was nice and moist. Each cube is about the size of a dice and very easy to break apart with my fingers. Although my dog often refuses to eat it, when I tell him that it's for his own good then he seems to understand. He is a big dog but he also won't eat it unless I break it up with my fingers into four tiny pieces. I sometimes mix them with beef jerky treats to get him to eat all of it, then it's all gone within seconds. Overall, I am very glad that my vet recommended this product to me because it does exactly what it promised to do for my dog. He's now happier and I'm happier seeing him happy. It's a win-win situation! It is a bit pricey ($72 for 150ct) but it's worth it. I would definitely recommend this product and would give it a 5 out of 5! -4/06/2017

This is an incredible product because it is easy to serve and recommended by vets. Made with high quality ingredients specifically tailored for large dogs over 60 lbs. It provides great joint health support. It's been fantastic for my 3 dogs' joint health. Definitely a product to consider!

We used one bag and it seemed to help our old dog’s arthritic legs but sadly we had to have her put down for other health problems so returned the second bag.

Keeps my 10 yr old lab active and acting like a wild puppy sometimes. Worth the extra cost compared to similar products.
